Young people from a logistics company love learning new things about Moscow – they've already taken various walking and themed tours, such as "The Master and Margarita." This time, they went on a food tour with dinner at VDNKh. The guide was waiting for the group at the entrance, where she briefly explained the upcoming private tour. They then walked to the Friendship of Nations Fountain, where they learned about the culinary traditions of the Soviet Union. Afterward, everyone went to "Armenia," a place with Armenian shops and cafes. There, the guide told the guests about national products, such as lavash, which was declared a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2014. The group also tried some of the Armenian dishes served at the cafe, including brduch, a shawarma-like dish made with baked chicken, cheese, herbs, and matsoni, as well as baklava. Read more...

The next day, we planned a family trip to Tsaritsyno and a cruise on the Radisson yacht. The guests arrived in Tsaritsyno by minivan, giving them only 50 minutes, so we took an electric car, where the tour continued, this time with a recorded narrator explaining the park and the sights we passed. The park and palace were very picturesque. At the top, the guide took photos of the guests. As we descended the mountain, we passed a musical fountain. We spotted various wildlife in the park: tame squirrels and ruddy shelducks—orange ducks that live in the zoo during the cold season and migrate to various city parks in the spring and summer. Then the young ladies went for a yacht ride, the highlight of their private excursion. Read more...

The next day, "our foreigners" took a minivan ride to VDNKh, where they were given a sightseeing tour with elements of a culinary tour. The ladies visited "Armenia" and "Eastern Teahouse," learning about the culinary traditions of various cultures. They also visited the "Moscow Model" pavilion. The German family decided to have lunch at "Moscow Sky," a restaurant that markets its cuisine as Soviet. It boasts exquisite interiors, designed in the style of artist Alexander Deineka. Paintings hang on the walls, each one featuring an airplane. After lunch, the group went to the "Smart City" pavilion, where they joined a free 45-minute tour in Russian. They then stopped briefly at the Housing and Utilities Museum. Lidiya Grigoryevna wanted to ride the "Sun of Moscow" Ferris wheel near the Housing and Utilities Museum. Read more...

On Wednesday, the guests had free time from the tours: they spent the day relaxing and shopping, and in the evening they attended a comedy performance. The next day, a minivan took the guests to Kubinka, to the Museum and Temple Complex of the Russian Armed Forces. They visited the main temple of the Armed Forces, strolled around the grounds, and went into the museum, where they picked up audio guides. However, the experience would have been interesting even without them, as the exhibits are superbly organized—everything is very modern. In total, the ladies spent two hours there. Incidentally, there are stands near the museum selling various dishes: shashlik, pancakes, and pelmeni. It was a hot 29°C (83°F), and since the ladies didn't wear hats, they settled down for lunch at a table under a canopy. Afterward, the foreign tourists toured the "Victory Field" exhibit with a guide, where the battle near the village of Akulovo unfolds as if in real time. Read more...

The next day, the German ladies not only rode the car but also the metro, exploring the beautiful stations, and then strolled along Arbat. The guests were impressed by Melnikov's house and liked the Tsoi wall. Next, the group visited the Mausoleum, took photos at the Necropolis along the Kremlin wall, and, after driving, walked through Shmelyovsky Square near the Inspiration fountain to the Tretyakov Gallery. At the gallery, the foreign guests were impressed by the painting "The Appearance of Christ to the People," which, when viewed closely, includes those viewing the canvas—as was originally intended by the artist Ivanov. The young ladies also lingered by Kukirev's "Unequal Marriage" and Kuindzhi's paintings featuring a 3D effect, which the artist created by scratching through layers of paint. Read more...

Our excursion guests, a beautiful young couple named Yulia and Alexander, were married in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and have been married for over ten years. Their son, Misha, is five. They decided to start their day of sightseeing in Moscow with a private boat ride on a small six-seater boat. They departed from Nagatinsky Zaton, where there's a beautiful metro station decorated with mosaic images of fish. Each fish contains an Easter egg—a unique feature that stands out from the crowd of mosaic cubes. For example, one of the fish contains a shell with a pearl inside. The excursion began near the residence of Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov, from where the boat quickly reached the city center. Passing by historical sites, the captain slowed down. The guests and tour guide reached Luzhniki, then the boat turned around and headed back. Read more...

Our wonderful corporate excursionists gathered in the capital for a nutritionists' convention. Some of the girls were from Moscow, while others came from Rostov-on-Don, Ivanovo, and Nizhny Novgorod. All of them are studying at the International Center for Continuing Professional Education. Initially, the girls had requested a tour of the Stalinist skyscrapers, which they had never seen before. But by the time the guide arrived, the guests were eager for some sushi, champagne, and a little relaxation. They headed to the third floor of GUM, where they sat comfortably on the comfortable sofas right on the bridge. From there, they enjoyed a beautiful view of the Central Fountain. The girls had a wonderful time, chatting, and relaxing. Then, they all boarded a luxury car with leather seats and headed to Vorobyovy Gory. Read more...

We conducted a tour of Moscow as part of a corporate event for UniCredit Bank. The group consisted of young employees working in the bank's offices with individuals. The choice was between "Hot Spots" and "Business People," and we settled on the latter. At the client's request, the corporate tour needed to have some interactive elements; informative, but not run-of-the-mill. The guide, Elena, did her best to engage the group in conversation: she shared interesting historical facts, asked questions, and listened attentively to the answers. The tour was conversational, accompanied by cheerful jokes from the satisfied participants. Even the weather that day was favorable: despite the forecast for rain, it was clear and windless. Yandex company. Excursion to the hot spots of Moscow, 2023

The Good Mays event agency approached us to organize a corporate tour of Moscow for 60 people. We decided on the "Hot Spots" with alcoholic beverage tastings at atmospheric establishments in Kitay-Gorod, lasting 2.5 hours. It turned out that the client was Yandex. We suggested dividing the group into three groups and starting at hourly intervals. We decided on three establishments along the route and selected drinks. The day before, Anton and Alexey made a special visit to the three "hot spots" they planned to visit. They finalized their choice of liqueurs and cocktails and established rapport with the bartenders to ensure everything went smoothly. The next day, about half an hour before their tour, each of the three guides arrived at the location, spoke with the client's coordinators, and departed with the group. Read more...

We've often organized wedding tours. Typically, this involves a drive from the registry office to a restaurant. Or, after the restaurant, to romantic locations (like "The Master and Margarita," "Affairs of the Heart"). But this time, the guests requested a family sightseeing tour in the agency's car. The group was small, consisting of the parents of the bride and groom and one other relative. All the participants turned out to be creative and successful people: the bride's father, for example, works as an organizer for Yuri Bashmet, and the groom's father is a performance organizer for Vladimir Spivakov's orchestra. They were all very welcoming, interesting, and well-traveled. Since both were native Muscovites, the standard locations weren't suitable. Read more...

On a beautiful June day, we gave a private tour of the very heart of Moscow to a family abroad. The Russian mother, German father, and their little daughter thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city's sights under the attentive guidance of our guide. In Germany, the family lives in a small village with only a few houses. The parents once owned a farm, but now only a few residents remain. Despite this, the guests were welcoming, inquisitive, and open to learning about Moscow's culture, architecture, and history. They chose the "Heart of the Capital" route. The tour was conducted in German. They decided to begin the sightseeing tour with St. Basil's Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin. Read more...

The other day, we introduced true connoisseurs and experts to the hot spots of the subject. The tour started on Monday at 1:00 PM. Upon receiving the application, a reasonable question initially arose: what kind of enthusiasts decided to explore drinking traditions during such an unpopular time of year? During the tour, it became clear that the group came straight from the bar scene, and "Museum Monday" is a time of leisure for those who toil behind the bar nonstop through the weekend. As a result, the bar friends ended up having a tour-and-drink team building event. A smart decision on their part—nothing brings a group together more effectively than sharing a drink! This has been the custom in Rus' since the days of the grand princes' feasts, and our task is to uphold the epic traditions! Read more...

They had been to Moscow before, but a long time ago. This time, they were in the city for a short stay. To see all the main sights, they booked a sightseeing tour with us. They listened attentively and with interest to the guide's story. At the beginning of the tour, the guide led the group through Red Square, then to GUM. There, the Crimeans sampled signature Soviet-era ice cream. Then, they headed to Zaryadye. Due to the Green Festival and running events in central Moscow that day, the Floating Bridge was closed. Instead, they went up a hill with northern landscapes, offering a panoramic view of the capital. Read more...

How much more expensive is organizing a personal tour than a mass one?

If you are alone or in pairs, then a sum of several thousand for a walk around the city or twenty thousand for a car excursion is noticeable.

But if you're going for a walk with family or friends, the cost per individual participant is closer to a thousand or two - about what each person would pay for a group excursion with strangers.

For a group of 8 or more people, the price becomes even lower when calculated per person, which makes an individual excursion truly attractive.

***
A mass excursion is tourism, an individual excursion is a journey through the city’s secrets with a personal guide.
