Today, employees of the international pharmaceutical company Sanofi, headquartered in Paris and operating in over 100 countries, walked along the "Master and Margarita" tour route. There were about 100 people in total, divided into four groups. Each group had its own guide: Elena, Anastasia, Valeria, and Dmitry, who communicated with the guests via radio guides—tour radio headphones. At the request of the client, Maslov, a leading event agency, the start of the tour was moved to the client's office so that the tour participants, with time intervals between groups, would start directly from their work. First, we took a short stroll past the Satire Theater on Triumfalnaya Square and the Aquarium Garden—the site of Bulgakov's fictional Variety Theater. Read more...

Today, guide Elena gave a spontaneous, customized tour in English for a foreign tourist from Italy. They met on Pyatnitskaya Street, where the young man was driven by a Russian client in a Maybach. Alexander asked Alexio to show him around Zamoskvorechye and take him to Kitay-Gorod. The personal guide and the young tourist began their Moscow tour on Chernigovsky Lane, where they entered the courtyard with the monument to Anna Akhmatova. Elena told Alexio about the Russian poet's affair with the Italian artist Modigliani, whose drawing the sculpture was based on. Unfortunately, despite living in Italy, the young man didn't know who Modigliani was. Then the couple visited the "Joy of All Who Sorrow" Church, located on Ordynka Street. Read more...

On the first day of summer, guests from China arrived in Moscow to take a guided tour of the city and learn many new and interesting things about the capital. The tour was conducted using radio guides: Elena spoke into a microphone, and guests heard her voice through headphones. The guide was also assisted by a translator, who explained any confusing points. The guests were eager to have Radius staff show them around the capital, so they agreed to have the tour translated into English. The group numbered over forty people, and Elena, the guide, met them in Skolkovo. As it happened, the guide had never been there before, but it turned out to be very conveniently accessible via the D1 line. Elena transferred at Belorusskaya station and boarded the comfortable and modern Ivolga train. Read more...

Today's tour participants were young Muscovites and one guest from St. Petersburg. The young people turned out to be very inquisitive and also dancers: they practice hustle, and one of them even teaches it. Driving past Gorky Park, the guests shared that they dance on Pushkinskaya Embankment every day in good weather. Surprisingly, the tour participants were very interested in Lenin and the Mausoleum, which none of them had visited in thirty years. When the guide explained that during the Great Patriotic War, the leader's body was transferred to Tyumen, everyone was very surprised. The young people openly admitted that they knew little about the city's history, although almost all of them were born in the capital. Therefore, for them, the private tour became an opportunity to happily discover new aspects of their native Moscow. Read more...

Today, a group of tourists from Almaty took a private tour. They were eager to see the most popular, interesting, and historically significant stations of the Moscow Metro in addition to the main sightseeing program by car. First, the guests toured the capital's most important sites by minivan: they traditionally visited Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, St. Basil's Cathedral, Vorobyovy Gory and the Holy Trinity Church, the Poklonnaya Gora Memorial Complex, and Moscow-City. Then, the group and their guide returned to the center and descended into the Moscow Metro. The first station we visited was Revolution Square, as it could be called a museum of sculptures located directly underground. Stalin himself is known to have approved of these sculptures, saying they were almost lifelike. Read more...

Recently, the guides from the Radius personal tour agency gathered to walk one of their routes, share their impressions, and update their signature program, "Journey to Christmas." Anton, the tour leader and author, immersed the children in a magical fairytale atmosphere. During their walk around the city, the guides learned that Manezhnaya Square hosts a new exhibition each year. This year, they created themed zones: Crafts, Merchant, Noble, and Trade Moscow. A tall young man dressed in merchant attire walks along Merchant Moscow, while in Noble Moscow, a young man dressed in noble attire greets guests. Overall, the guides were pleased, combining business with pleasure: they reminisced about old experiences and learned something new, prepared for their guests, and thoroughly enjoyed their time with their colleagues. The Radius private tour agency periodically conducts training for personal guides. Anton, who develops new and exciting tour itineraries around Moscow and then trains his colleagues, runs these training sessions. This time, the city guides took the "Window to Europe" route (formerly known as "Foreign Customs"), which takes in the Lefortovo Park and District of Moscow, near the Baumanskaya metro station. Catherine's Palace is currently in disrepair, but if restored, it would become a true gem of the area. Many guides, and indeed anyone who has strolled through the area, are struck by the white and gray building with arches, built as part of the renovation program and housing residents from old five-story buildings. A family from Nizhny Novgorod with two children flew to Moscow by helicopter, and a guide met them at the Reutov Heliport. The helicopter kicked up a snowstorm, making it difficult to film because the snow was blowing in their faces. The couple had flown to Moscow for a few hours individually to visit the exhibition in the "Regions of Russia" pavilion at VDNKh. The daughters had seen an advertisement for the exhibition on TV and were thrilled. The exhibition consisted of two halls. They first saw the North—the guests were interested in Kamchatka because they were planning a trip there. This took about an hour. Then they went to the pavilion housing the Center of Russia. The girls enjoyed it; they participated in various activities and took photos. Overall, it was a family tour of the VDNKh exhibitions, without going into too much detail. Since their youngest daughter, Irina, was tired, they decided to go for lunch. Read more...

How much more expensive is organizing a personal tour than a mass one?

If you are alone or in pairs, then a sum of several thousand for a walk around the city or twenty thousand for a car excursion is noticeable.

But if you're going for a walk with family or friends, the cost per individual participant is closer to a thousand or two - about what each person would pay for a group excursion with strangers.

For a group of 8 or more people, the price becomes even lower when calculated per person, which makes an individual excursion truly attractive.
