Background
A walking tour of Zamoskvorechye is a walk among low-rise buildings and narrow pedestrian streets accompanied by a leisurely story from a high-quality guide. The local churches are considered the adornment of Moscow, and the Tretyakov Gallery is a treasury of Russian and world art.
The oldest, Zamoskvoretsky district of Moscow has been known since the 14th century, when the headquarters of the Mongol Khan was located here, where they brought tribute collected from all over Rus' and swore an oath to the Khan. For a long time, a vast Tatar settlement existed in Zamoskvorechye. However, today Zamoskvorechye reminds of Moscow as it was a hundred years ago, and this architectural appearance was created by merchants, including Pavel Tretyakov.
But how realistic were the Morozovs, Matveevs, Mamontovs, Demidovs, Botkins, Shmelevs, Tretyakovs, Bakhrushins, Kokorevs, Smirnovs and many other merchants portrayed in Russian, and later in Soviet poetry, prose, and plays?
From Ordynka Bolshaya and Malaya, along Lavrushinsky Lane and Kadashi to Pyatnitskaya, it is worth taking a walking tour to see and learn about the unique Sloboda, Streltsy and merchant Zamoskvorechye.

Tretyakov Gallery, Vegetarian Cafe and Shopping in Moscow. Foreigner's Third Visit to Moscow / Day 3
Who would have thought that a personal tour of Moscow could turn into a true journey through art, gastronomy, and shopping? The guide began our English-speaking guest's tour with a visit to the Tretyakov Gallery. It was the third day of the program, and it promised to be action-packed. The tour of the Tretyakov Gallery lasted about two hours. Our guest, who had already visited the Hermitage and many European galleries, was impressed by the collection of Russian art. She particularly enjoyed the classical works, although for some reason she declined to have her photo taken in front of them. However, our guide did take several framed photos with her in the interactive corner—the result was very atmospheric. After exploring the gallery, they went to the Sok café, which was originally vegetarian but now offers meat dishes. Read more...

Atmospheric places of Moscow in the company of Yandex
Moscow's Front and Secret Places for Yandex
A year ago, we organized a drinking tour for Yandex near Moscow State University. Today, we're summing up our collaboration with the IT giant and their "Summer Together" project this year. As part of the corporate event, Yandex employees were immersed in our bureau's fascinating city tours every week. On Saturdays, six individual groups embarked on a journey through Moscow's cultural attractions, accompanied not only by guides but also by curators who assisted with organizational matters and assessed the guests' impressions. After each tour, participants shared their feedback in the corporate automated system. Our guides immersed participants in the atmosphere of "The Soul of Moscow" (a tour through the alleys of Kitay-gorod), the grandiose VDNKh, Gilyarovsky's Moscow, and the cozy Zamoskvorechye district. Today, guide Elena gave a spontaneous, customized tour in English for a foreign tourist from Italy. They met on Pyatnitskaya Street, where the young man was driven by a Russian client in a Maybach. Alexander asked Alexio to show him around Zamoskvorechye and take him to Kitay-Gorod. The personal guide and the young tourist began their Moscow tour on Chernigovsky Lane, where they entered the courtyard with the monument to Anna Akhmatova. Elena told Alexio about the Russian poet's affair with the Italian artist Modigliani, whose drawing the sculpture was based on. Unfortunately, despite living in Italy, the young man didn't know who Modigliani was. Then the couple visited the "Joy of All Who Sorrow" Church, located on Ordynka Street. Read more...

The next day, the German ladies not only rode the car but also the metro, exploring the beautiful stations, and then strolled along Arbat. The guests were impressed by Melnikov's house and liked the Tsoi wall. Next, the group visited the Mausoleum, took photos at the Necropolis along the Kremlin wall, and, after driving, walked through Shmelyovsky Square near the Inspiration fountain to the Tretyakov Gallery. At the gallery, the foreign guests were impressed by the painting "The Appearance of Christ to the People," which, when viewed closely, includes those viewing the canvas—as was originally intended by the artist Ivanov. The young ladies also lingered by Kukirev's "Unequal Marriage" and Kuindzhi's paintings featuring a 3D effect, which the artist created by scratching through layers of paint. Read more...

We had a corporate group of 10 people. Our guide was Anton, and we had a tour of Bulgakov. I would like to point out the excellent organization; everything went smoothly. The managers were very accommodating to our changes in the number of participants. The bus was very comfortable. Anton is a super-engaged and motivated guide.
He lives this story and takes great pleasure in sharing his knowledge and creating impressions.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau
