Radius Excursion Agency

Stylish cultural and educational walks around Moscow

Radius Bureau: Moscow without the tour guide

We organize private walks and city routes for people who find "look left, look right" more than just a simple "look left." Moscow isn't a museum showcase or a series of landmarks, but a city: with memories, architecture, courtyards, literature, restaurants, quirky curiosities, and conversations about the future of the capital and the country.

We work with private guests, families, international travelers, organizations, and corporate clients. We can offer a ready-made tour or customize a route to suit your needs: from a stroll for two to a corporate experience for several groups and days.

The starting point is not the route, but you.

The catalog helps you quickly choose a theme and location, but we regularly tailor the tour to the client, depending on who's going, why, the language, how much time is available, what's already been seen, and the desired tone: relaxed, festive (for example, with a guitar), intellectual, businesslike, family-oriented, or a little rowdy (alcohol-friendly tours available).

We don't sell mass tourism in a pretty package. We create a walk around people. That's why the same area can become a date, a route for foreign partners, a family day out, a developer's story about the history and territory, or a quiet team-building session that leaves colleagues feeling like they didn't even notice.

Our trump cards

Video excerpt from the excursion

When do you need the Radius tour agency?

When you don't need a mass flow, but a craft route with a personal guide.

A private walk without the crowds

Whether you're a couple, a family, or friends, the area, theme, and pace are tailored to your interests, not the schedule of a large group.

A guided walk through Moscow

Guests of Moscow

We're putting together a clear itinerary for first-time visitors and a more nuanced itinerary for guests who have already seen Red Square and are looking for a different layer of the city.

Foreigners and business partners

We conduct tours in Russian and foreign languages, taking into account the cultural background of our guests and helping to show Moscow without the official tone.

Family, date, gift

We make the walk personal: without overwhelming dates, with lively speech, pauses, beautiful spots, and the feeling that the city is open just for you.

Corporate format

We select guides, transportation, timing, and travel plans for clients, employees, educational groups, and business guests.

Route from scratch

When a ready-made catalog isn't enough, we design a custom tour around a district, profession, building, biography, company, or event.

Examples of tasks

This isn't a showcase of the entire catalog, but rather a cross-section of several tasks, showing how a client's request is transformed into a living urban scenario.

A personalized program for a guest from Romania in Moscow

A foreign guest and the city for a few days

Not a quick overview, but a personalized program: the City, the metro, cafes, unexpected spots, and the vibrant Moscow rhythm for a guest who already has the city in her heart.

A route through the area for a developer audience

The district as a project history

For development purposes, the route is designed around the territory, the memory of the place, the architecture, and the future of the district—so that the location is more than just an address. Using the example of the Rodina developer's projects.

Corporate tour of Bulgakov's Moscow for a pharmaceutical company

A corporate walk without the official system

A large group can be handled differently than a column at a briefing: divide people into teams, maintain a consistent pace, and transform "The Master and Margarita" into a fun city evening with colleagues and a meaningful team-building activity that's enjoyable for everyone.

A corporate tour for Yandex of Moscow's hot spots

Yandex and the slutty places

When the team isn't looking for a banquet with badges, but for a fun urban connection: Kitay-gorod, stories, tastings, and the feeling that the corporate event has finally gone outside, after having changed several venues.

A delegation from China on a tour of Moscow

Delegation and personal guide

For foreign delegations, clear organization, meeting point, language, transportation, and a respectful, but not wooden, tone of presentation are important.

Individual family excursion to VDNKh

A day in Moscow with the family

Sometimes a good excursion isn't just a single destination, but a complete day: well-thought-out and coordinated travel, incorporating the interests of adults and children, and a comfortable ending.

What does a private format look like?

We don't turn the city into a lecture at a monument. A good private tour hinges on the route, the energy of the place, the personality of the guide, their speech and pauses, atmospheric angles for photographs, attention to the people walking alongside, and the connection between everyone present. Such things don't just happen.

All this is the work of the excursion bureau and a highly qualified guide, who is simultaneously a historian, a powerful storyteller, an actor and a director of the tour.

Without a team and someone else's pace
Guide, language, and itinerary tailored to specific guests
On foot, by car or in a mixed format
You can choose from the catalog or discuss the route from scratch.

Choose a ready-made excursion or write to us

If you need quick directions, start with the directory. If your task is unusual—guests, date, area, language, transportation, or a special occasion—it's best to discuss the route with the manager right away.

A Custom Route for the Rodina Park Residential Complex. In the summer and fall of 2025, our firm organized and conducted a series of tours for the developer Rodina. Three custom routes were developed for the project, each focused on a specific residential complex and its surroundings. This article describes the program for the Rodina Park residential complex in Moscow's Mozhaisk District. This district required special preparation: the route was created from scratch, including an on-site visit and a detailed survey of the area. How the route was designed: The tour began at the sales office and, step by step, revealed the historical layer of this part of the city through the dacha culture of Kuntsevo. Before its incorporation into Moscow in 1960, this was a prestigious suburban area, and it was from this context that the guide introduced participants to the district. Read more...

Introduction: What's the story and who's it for? To understand the format and why it's structured this way, our firm usually starts with context. The developer Rodina approached us with a rather unusual request: the company has several residential projects in different areas of Moscow, and the goal wasn't just to "show off" something, but to create comprehensive tour programs around each residential complex. The audience for such programs is twofold. The first is the brokers who sell apartments. It's important for them not just to know the layouts, but to understand the neighborhood, to be able to "sell the environment," to convey the story, the atmosphere, and the future. The second is the clients. Some have already purchased an apartment, and then the tour becomes a pleasant bonus. Others are still choosing, in which case the tour becomes part of the funnel: they want to get a feel for the place and fall in love with it. Read more...

We organized a weekend excursion for SFT Group, a company the agency has been working with for several years. SFT Group commissions this series of itineraries from us year after year, and the 2025 excursion plan also included a number of walks: Patriki, Zamoskvorechye, Presnya, Khamovniki, and Preobrazhenka. On this program, Maria led the tour of Basmanny and Vorobyovy Gory. And on December 13, the group also planned a "Sultry Places" tour. Some of the participants on the Basmannaya excursion had been to the area before, but they knew little about Basmanny in general, so the guide's explanation was a major revelation for many. Along the route, the guests saw the many places and interesting buildings hidden between Novaya and Staraya Basmannaya. Read more...

Not every new district in Moscow allows for such a coherent discussion of industrial history, urban memory, and contemporary architectural language. That's why our bureau's latest signature tour was dedicated to Zilart, a district that grew on the site of the former Likhachev Automobile Plant. This time, the tour included developers from the Samolet company, who have chosen our bureau for tours before. Previously, the guide had led the same group on a walk through Zamoskvorechye, where the discussion focused on residential complexes and the historical environment. This time, the focus shifted to a completely different urban context: an area undergoing large-scale redevelopment, where new architecture literally emerges from the industrial past. Read more...

Garrett Johnston on a private tour of Moscow's Golden Mile. A walk through the Prechistenka and Ostozhenka neighborhoods.

Anton gave Garrett Johnston a personal tour of Moscow. This Russian-speaking Irishman, a renowned business strategist, was a guest on a private tour of the Prechistenka and Ostozhenka districts. Anton, who had enjoyed Garrett's interviews many times, was delighted to meet him in person. Incidentally, Garrett had been approached by Donstroy, whose employees we had recently organized a series of tours for, and the expert himself had reached out to us to better understand the historical and cultural context of Moscow's elite neighborhoods. Although Donstroy was not an intermediary this time, the company's influence was still significant. After completing the walking tour, Garrett headed to the Donstroy sales office to meet Olga, a friend of our guide, and Anton sent her his regards. Read more...

With the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in the background. Moscow overview
Against the backdrop of St. Basil's Cathedral and the monument to Minin and Pozharsky. A night tour of Moscow for teachers.

The sightseeing tour, led by our guide, Valeria, was an unforgettable experience. The Artek teachers chose the symbolic beginning of September to enjoy Moscow at night. The tour departed from their hotel on Novoslobodskaya Street. The first stop was Red Square, where the group admired the splendor of GUM and St. Basil's Cathedral, illuminated by the lights. Next, the group headed to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. At the observation deck of the Patriarch's Bridge, which offers a panoramic view of the illuminated Kremlin, Valeria explained the history of these majestic structures. The next stop was Vorobyovy Gory, where the participants admired the views of Luzhniki, Stalin's skyscrapers, and Moscow State University, taking souvenir photos. The journey continued toward Moscow City. Read more...

Moscow's Most Unusual Tours: Bunkers, Darkness, and Water
In Moscow, the era when a tour meant nothing more than a stroll along the boulevards, regaled with tales of merchants, the fire of 1812, and the facades of tenement buildings, is long gone. A good, unconventional route should work like a jaguar and a match at the same time: first breaking the usual rhythm, then instantly illuminating the city from an unexpected angle. That's why here you can go tens of meters underground, lose your sight for an hour in complete darkness…

VDNKh as a grand route: museums, space, and walks around the area
A tour of VDNKh in Moscow has long since transcended the confines of a stroll through a single historical site. In 2026, this place is more conveniently perceived as a sprawling cultural district, merging Soviet architecture, museums, space themes, children's and adult spaces, landscaped areas, and adjacent locations. Therefore, the most reasonable question is not "what to see here in an hour," but "which logic should I choose: historical,…"
