Tretyakov Gallery, Vegetarian Cafe and Shopping in Moscow. Foreigner's Third Visit to Moscow / Day 3
Who would have thought that personal tour of Moscow Could a trip to the Tretyakov Gallery truly be a journey through art, gastronomy, and shopping? The guide began our English-speaking guest's tour with a visit to the Tretyakov Gallery. It was the third day of the program, and it promised to be action-packed. The tour of the Tretyakov Gallery lasted about two hours. Our guest, who had already visited the Hermitage and many European galleries, was impressed by the collection of Russian art. She particularly enjoyed the classical works, although for some reason she declined to have her photo taken in front of them. However, in the interactive corner, our guide took several framed photos with our guest—the result was very atmospheric.
After a walk through the gallery halls, they went to the Sok cafe, which was originally vegetarian, but now offers meat dishes. However, our guest is a vegetarian, so she liked the choice. The interiors of the cafe, decorated with reproductions of paintings, created a cozy atmosphere. The guest noted that the place is really very soulful.
The next item on the program was shopping. The guide and the guest went to the multi-brand store "Eurasia", which opened last year. This store, located on Smolenskaya Street, offers products from different countries: Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, as well as Belarus and Russia. Despite its small size, the store surprised with its assortment. On the second floor there is a cozy cafe, where the guest tried Ivan-tea and Moldavian rombaba, enjoying the atmosphere. This place turned out to be a real find, especially considering its convenient location next to the "Golden Ring" hotel, where our guest stayed.
The rest of the day passed in a calm atmosphere of conversations and tasting. Having finished the day in a café, the guide escorted the guest back to the hotel, where their busy day came to an end. This is how an individual walk along the streets of Moscow turned into a fascinating journey, giving new impressions and discoveries.
