Individual tours of the Kremlin

Optionally, upon request, we conduct excursions to the Kremlin. For Russians, we conduct a tour of the Kremlin territory, if there are no more than 3 tourists. For foreign citizens, the number of excursionists may be larger.

Entering the Kremlin territory through the Trinity Tower, visitors first see the Kremlin Palace, the concert hall, the former Palace of Congresses of the USSR. Then the Arsenal, then the Senate Palace. We pass by all this, having the opportunity to have a good view of these buildings from the street. Then the legendary Tsar Bell, Tsar Cannon. And, finally, Cathedral Square. On Cathedral Square are the Assumption Cathedral, the Archangel Cathedral, the Annunciation Cathedral, the Church of the Deposition of the Robe, the Faceted Chamber. Then the Grand Kremlin Palace (the former residence of the emperors of all Russia in the Moscow Kremlin). Taynitsky Garden with the oak "Cosmos", planted by Yuri Gagarin a couple of days after landing, the Patriarch's Chambers.
This concerns the open part of the Kremlin territory (entrance to the closed part of the Kremlin is through the commandant's office.

The Armoury Chamber is also visible from afar, but the entrance to it, like to the Diamond Fund, is through the Borovitsky Gate.

Who would have thought that the president of the Russian Union of German Shepherd Lovers would end up on a personal tour of Moscow for his Pakistani counterpart? Yes, that's right. Imran Hussain, a respected judge from Pakistan who is no stranger to Russia, was a guest of our tour agency. From August 16th to 18th, the city of Vidnoye was hosting a prestigious German Shepherd show, and of course, he couldn't miss it. Our guide met Imran at the Kutafya Tower, and they began a walk through the city's historic corners. They followed the classic route beneath the Trinity Tower. They discussed the snow-white Palace of Congresses, built in the second half of the 20th century. The Pakistani guest noted that it is an example of the international modernist style, characteristic of that time in America, Europe, and Russia. Read more...

The group included a mother, father, adult daughter, an eight-year-old boy, and grandmother. Their journey began with a visit to the Kremlin's Cathedral Square, where they had reserved tickets in advance. Within the Kremlin, the participants explored its main attractions. The guide described the Palace of Congresses, the Assumption, Archangel, and Annunciation Cathedrals, the Faceted Chamber, the Church of the Deposition of the Robe, the Patriarch's Palace, the Ivan the Great Bell Tower, the Tsar Bell, and the Tsar Cannon. The Kremlin Christmas tree, which the eight-year-old boy particularly enjoyed, was a particular highlight. The group visited the Assumption and Annunciation Cathedrals, where they were captivated by ancient Russian art: icons, iconostasis, and murals. Read more...

Yesterday, a private tour was held for guests from sunny Thailand. Tour guide Maria led a couple of young people on foot and by metro through Moscow's most interesting sights, starting from the Continental Hotel across from the English Club. The Thais' business partners from Rostelecom arranged with Anton, Radius's art director, to allow their colleagues from Southeast Asia to become acquainted with Russian culture and history. The participants showed a keen interest in our history, family relationships, and everyday life, asking a multitude of questions, including what we usually eat and what we eat more often—meat or chicken—and what we buy and cook. From the hotel, the participants took the Moscow metro, visiting the Tverskaya, Teatralnaya, Ploshchad Revolyutsii, and Arbatskaya stations. Read more...

A young woman who came to Moscow from Romania lives in the small town of Kraevo in the south of the country. She is a dental implantologist by profession. She has many years of training behind her: six years at university and another five years in the surgical department. She specializes exclusively in constructing bridges in jaws, to which implants are then attached, while her colleagues handle the rest of the work. Her own dental clinic is not just a business, but the result of her hard work and skill. By all accounts, she is successful and works hard. She lives in a house near Kraevo, which she reaches in half an hour. She also has a cozy place in Zanzibar, which she calls her dacha. Our guest came to Moscow to improve her qualifications. This is her second visit to Russia: her first was to St. Petersburg. Read more...

Private tour of Red Square and the Kremlin for intelligent youth
Great-grandson of Sergei Korolev on a tour of Red Square

Last week, our personal guide, Elena, led a tour for a lively group of seven young people interested in the history of Moscow and the country. When the conversation turned to Sergei Korolev (rocket and space systems designer) near the Kremlin wall, it turned out that one of the group members is a direct descendant of Sergei Pavlovich. Pavel, the name of Korolev's great-grandson, now lives in London, working there for an investment fund. He comes to Russia to meet his family and attend official events in the Kremlin and the city of Korolev. When visiting the Kremlin grounds, Pavel always stops by the wall where the urn containing his great-grandfather's ashes rests. The group was engaged during the guided tour: they listened attentively, asked questions, and even answered the guide's own questions. Read more...

Our excursion guests, a beautiful young couple named Yulia and Alexander, were married in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and have been married for over ten years. Their son, Misha, is five. They decided to start their day of sightseeing in Moscow with a private boat ride on a small six-seater boat. They departed from Nagatinsky Zaton, where there's a beautiful metro station decorated with mosaic images of fish. Each fish contains an Easter egg—a unique feature that stands out from the crowd of mosaic cubes. For example, one of the fish contains a shell with a pearl inside. The excursion began near the residence of Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov, from where the boat quickly reached the city center. Passing by historical sites, the captain slowed down. The guests and tour guide reached Luzhniki, then the boat turned around and headed back. Read more...

On a beautiful June day, we gave a private tour of the very heart of Moscow to a family abroad. The Russian mother, German father, and their little daughter thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city's sights under the attentive guidance of our guide. In Germany, the family lives in a small village with only a few houses. The parents once owned a farm, but now only a few residents remain. Despite this, the guests were welcoming, inquisitive, and open to learning about Moscow's culture, architecture, and history. They chose the "Heart of the Capital" route. The tour was conducted in German. They decided to begin the sightseeing tour with St. Basil's Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin. Read more...

We received a request for three tours for two guests from England: Diana and Miso. Diana is half-Georgian, formerly a Muscovite, and has been living happily in London for 17 years. Miso is her friend, an Englishman, who had never been to Moscow before. Diana occasionally visits Moscow to visit her mother, but she hasn't been everywhere and doesn't remember much, so she decided to introduce her friend to the capital by contacting us. We selected an available English-speaking guide from our team, received a deposit from the client, decided on a theme, and on the appointed day, Miso and Diana began their multi-day excursion with us in English. Since Miso had never been to Moscow before, we decided to start in the center. On the first day, the guide took the group to the Kremlin and the Armory Chamber, then we walked around the city. The group traveled from the Kemerovo Region to visit their daughter and grandchildren who live on Nikolina Gora in the Moscow region. This area is home to a writers' village. Sergei Mikhalkov (the author of the national anthem and father of Nikita Sergeyevich) once had a dacha here. The couple said they have three grandchildren, one of whom had an equestrian competition planned the day before, which significantly impacted their arrival time. The elderly couple hadn't been to Moscow for over 40 years and asked our guide for a private tour of the city's landmarks. A tour of the Kremlin, Alexander Garden, and Red Square quickly refreshed their memories of the capital. During the tour, the group became hungry, which led to lunch at GUM's Festival Café and Gastronom No. 1. Read more...

Belgrade-based hospitality professionals came to Moscow to provide professional support for the Hyatt Regency Moscow Petrovsky Park, which opened in 2017. Deciding to give them an engaging tour, we arranged a transfer from their overnight hotel to the city center. The first stop for these "brotherly" foreigners to discover Moscow was Red Square and the Kremlin. We visited the Floating Bridge and the hill on the northern landscape, offering a superb 360° view of the Kremlin and its surroundings in the popular and enchanting Zaryadye Park. The view becomes especially beautiful in the evening when the lights are turned on. In addition to visiting beautiful places, the guests enjoyed a new culinary experience. GUM, or more precisely, its famous GUM ice cream, was a real surprise. Read more...

The first excursion was for transport workers – "Poklonnaya City." The route from Poklonnaya Gora to Moscow-City could be called the "From Wars to Business through the Soviet Union" tour. During the traditional reminiscences of this walk, one of the participants recounted his great-grandfather, a Don Cossack who fought in the Civil War, including on the White side, and became a full Cavalier of the Soviet Order of Glory during the Great Patriotic War. At the end, the guests ascended the Federation Tower skyscraper. During another corporate program, bakers from St. Petersburg learned more about Moscow. The best employees of one bread-producing company were given, among other things, a guided tour of the capital by car, which we warmly welcomed, and guide Alexey gave a competent introduction to the city. How much more expensive are personal tours than mass tours?

If you are alone or in pairs, then a sum of several thousand for a walking tour of the city or twenty thousand for a car excursion is significant.

But if you're going for a walk with family or friends, the cost for an individual participant approaches one or two thousand - the amount that each person would pay for a group excursion with strangers.

For your group of 8 or more people, the price becomes even lower when calculated per person, making a private tour truly attractive.

A mass excursion is tourism, an individual excursion is a journey through the city’s secrets with a personal guide.
