Street guides of "Radius" took a walk around Lefortovo
From time to time, the excursion bureau of individual excursions “Radius” trains personal guides. This is done by Anton, who develops new interesting excursion routes around Moscow and then teaches them to his colleagues.
This time the city guides went on the route "Window to Europe" (formerly known as "Foreign Orders") is a Moscow district and park called Lefortovo, which is not far from the Baumanskaya metro station.
Catherine's Palace is now in disrepair, but if it is restored, it will become a real pearl of these places.
Many tour guides, and anyone who has walked here, are struck by the white-gray house with arches, which was built as part of a renovation program, and where residents from the old five-story buildings were relocated. Each of his apartments has a loggia, and everything looks very nice.
During the walk we stocked up on the most delicious cocoa in the fashionable cultural and business complex “Supermetal”, where the guides appreciated the local interiors.
It is obvious that the Eastern district of the capital is still undervalued (and this is even good), but as restoration progresses, tourists will flock here too. In general, this is an atmospheric, historical location, although only the Lefortovo Palace remains from the German Settlement.
The team of tour guides combined business with pleasure: after exploring the area and the author's route through it, we had a hearty sit-down in the English pub - Informal communication is "good" for everyone!)
On the way back, the guys went down to the Lefortovo metro station and on the way home they got off at each station to inspect and study new stations. The Moscow metro has always been famous for its beauty, and modern stations, to the great joy of guides and guests of the capital, maintain this level!
