Guests from Almaty took a walk along the Moscow metro
Today a group of tourists from Almaty went on an individual excursion.
This was a family group from Almaty: they completed the driving portion of the programme by minivan before heading down into the Metro together.
In addition to the main sightseeing program, they really wanted to see the most popular, interesting and historically significant ones by car. Moscow metro stations.
First, the guests traveled to important places in the capital in a minivan: they traditionally visited Red Square, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, St. Basil's Cathedral, Sparrow Hills and the Church of the Holy Trinity, the Poklonnaya Gora memorial complex, Moscow City. Then the tourists and the guide returned to the center and went down to the Moscow metro. The first station we visited was Revolution Square, because it can be called a museum of sculptures located directly underground.
It is known that Stalin himself approved of these sculptures - he said that they were like living things. Tourists learned interesting facts related to this station. They rubbed the shoe of a student to attract love, and the flags of the sailor from the cruiser "Marat" Olympia Rudakova, so that good luck would accompany them everywhere.
The guests didn’t stop there: they rubbed the dog’s nose so that they could do well in their exams, and, most importantly, they didn’t forget about the rooster, so that this year everything would be great with money, and everyone’s salary would be increased.
Next, the guide and excursionists proceeded to the Mayakovskaya metro station, created by the architect Dushkin.
There is one interesting trick: if you launch a coin from one side of the metal arch that connects the pillars, it will fly over the arch and fall on the other side. I must admit that the guests did not succeed through the large arch, but the trick was a success with the small one.
The guide also personally showed the tourists the entire mosaic that is presented at Mayakovskaya: the so-called morning, day and evening of the Soviet Union and at the end, morning again. It turns out that they went through everything from beginning to end and found themselves at Kyiv station, where they looked at both the Circle Line and the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya station. They took a group photo against the backdrop of the panel.
In the end, the guests were absolutely delighted with the author's excursion. They liked everything, and they said that they would definitely return to Moscow again.
