Adventures of the Germans in Moscow. Part 2
The next day, the ladies from Germany rode not only by car, but also by metro, looked at the beautiful stations, and then took a walk along Arbat.
That day’s tours and assistance for the German guests were provided in English.
The guests were impressed by Melnikov's house and liked Tsoi's wall.
Next, the excursionists visited the Mausoleum, took photos at the Necropolis along the Kremlin wall and, having arrived by car, walked through Shmelevsky Square near the Inspiration fountain to the Tretyakov Gallery.
In the gallery, foreign guests were impressed by the painting “The Appearance of Christ to the People”, which, if you get closer to it, includes those who look at the canvas - this was originally intended by the artist Ivanov. The young ladies also lingered at the painting “Unequal Marriage” by Kukirev and paintings by Kuindzhi with a 3D effect, which the artist created by scratching layers of paint. The result was a relief image that reflected light, which created a sense of reality.
Nicole recognized Shishkin’s painting “Morning in a Pine Forest” because she knew it from the chocolates that can be bought in Russian stores in Germany. By the way, Nicole speaks and understands Russian quite well, but German, of course, knows better.
After the Tretyakov Gallery, the family and their guide went to the Osteria Mario restaurant on Pyatnitskaya, where they got Aperol, a low-alcohol drink based on liqueur and soda. The guests liked the famous Moscow restaurant. The place is famous for its democratic prices, and on weekdays from 10:00 to 16:00 you can get a 20% discount on any dish.
The next day, the Russian-German foreigners planned shopping and relaxation in the first half of the day, and after lunch, a guided trip in a minivan to the Museum and Temple Complex of the Armed Forces of Russia. You can read about this in the next series of the report about a private excursion around Moscow.
You can also book the tours «Customizable dream excursion», «Palace Dungeons», «Zamoskvorechye» and other tours.
