Here are reports on organized excursions that we had the opportunity to photograph. We provide detailed information about corporate excursions and what we can do for business clients here: For business.

At the end of May, a group from Simferopol took our sightseeing tour of Moscow by car. The guys sell and install plumbing fixtures in private residences in Russia and Uzbekistan. They had been to Moscow before, but a long time ago. This time, they were in the city for a short stay. To see all the main sights, they booked a sightseeing tour with us. They listened attentively and with interest to the guide's story. At the beginning of the tour, the guide led the group through Red Square, then to GUM. There, the Crimeans sampled signature Soviet-era ice cream. Then, they headed to Zaryadye. Due to the Green Festival and running events in central Moscow that day, the Floating Bridge was closed. Instead, they went up a hill with northern landscapes, offering a panoramic view of the capital. Read more...

A children's tour, all seven years old, brought together eight young explorers, preschoolers from the same kindergarten. The mother of one of the participants, with whom our guide, Anastasia, had walked around Moscow in the spring on a semi-holiday tour in honor of her birthday, decided to organize another trip—this time for children. The theme was ghost hunting. In the Alexander Garden, the children enthusiastically searched for mystical stories. The young participants asked many questions and actively participated in the individual walk. The group then headed to the red fire and observed preparations for the May 9th celebrations. The young participants even sang a song in honor of the holiday. At the end of the tour, at the children's request, guide Nastya took them to a café on Nikolskaya Street, where they concluded their exciting adventure. Read more...

An axiom of the tour guide profession is that any self-respecting tour guide should never stunt their development. Our agency has long had a tradition of group walks along our signature tour paths. These encounters allow for the exchange of knowledge and experience, broadening horizons, and capturing the dynamic changes in the city. It's helpful for guides to meet periodically, compare route maps, maintain a distinctive approach to presenting information, and reach a common understanding of the thematic content of their tours. Recently, our diligent five-person regular tour guide team—Anton, Alexey, Anastasia, Elena, and Valeria—took a group walk through the alleys and courtyards of the Arbat area. Read more...

Not long ago, we conducted another sightseeing tour by car for foreigners. It was a group from Iran, representatives of the construction business, visiting Moscow with partners. Two of the non-native speakers only spoke English, while one member of the group spoke Russian very well, having once lived in Kharkiv for 20 years. He even offered to translate for our guide during the tour. However, the guide, Elena Andre, is fluent in several foreign languages, including English, so the services of a translator were not necessary in this case. We decided to start the tour from Manezhnaya Square. Then we went for a stroll through GUM, taking a lunch break at "Stolovaya No. 1." After a light snack, our foreign guests walked with the guide through GUM's souvenir shops and bought various chocolates as gifts from Moscow. Read more...

A group of six friends joined the "Master and Margarita" tour. Among them were a mother and a small child, aged between 10 and 12, who abandoned the group mid-tour due to heavy rain. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Tour guide Anastasia led the group to the building where Bulgakov lived. There, the participants enthusiastically took photos near the graffiti-covered walls. One participant was particularly enthusiastic about capturing all the picturesque views along the route. When the rain intensified, the group headed to a coffee shop near Patriarch's Ponds, where they enjoyed tea. The atmosphere was cheerful and positive, and even the rain couldn't dampen their spirits. After tea, armed with hot drinks, the group continued along the second part of the fascinating route, concluding their individual walk on Tverskoy Boulevard. Read more...

Sightseeing tour for an entrepreneur from the Middle Kingdom
A businessman from China, his assistant, and their Russian business partner on the Floating Bridge in Zaryadye
Not long ago, we conducted a sightseeing tour of the city by car for a group from China. The group consisted of a businessman, his assistants, and their business partner from Russia. The group met in Moscow to discuss work matters but also decided to learn more about the city. Our guide took the Chinese guests to Vorobyovy Gory, Red Square, and other iconic Moscow landmarks. The tour also included the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a walk through Zaryadye, and, of course, the Floating Bridge. The group and guide also sampled ice cream at GUM, enjoyed a cozy getaway at Coffee Mania, and viewed a diorama in one of Stalin's skyscrapers. The Chinese businessman proved to be quite knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the capital: he asked insightful questions and listened with interest to our guide's answers. We received a request for three tours for two guests from England: Diana and Miso. Diana is half-Georgian, formerly a Muscovite, and has been living happily in London for 17 years. Miso is her friend, an Englishman, who had never been to Moscow before. Diana occasionally visits Moscow to visit her mother, but she hasn't been everywhere and doesn't remember much, so she decided to introduce her friend to the capital by contacting us. We selected an available English-speaking guide from our team, received a deposit from the client, decided on a theme, and on the appointed day, Miso and Diana began their multi-day excursion with us in English. Since Miso had never been to Moscow before, we decided to start in the center. On the first day, the guide took the group to the Kremlin and the Armory Chamber, then we walked around the city. At the end of April, we received a request from some guys in the vape business. Their Chinese partners were planning to come to Moscow for negotiations, and they needed a guided tour in English of the capital's main sights. Elena was chosen as the guide for the group. She is fluent in English, enjoys sightseeing tours, and recently became one of 10 guides specializing in gastronomic tours in Moscow. Barney and Cheryl, entrepreneurs from China, had never been to Moscow before. So, they decided to start their exploration of the city from the very center – Red Square. Despite being Buddhists, they were eager to visit St. Basil's Cathedral, among other places. They knew little about Christianity, so they asked the guide in advance to tell them more about it, including taking them to Moscow's main cathedrals. Read more...

The group traveled from the Kemerovo Region to visit their daughter and grandchildren who live on Nikolina Gora in the Moscow region. This area is home to a writers' village. Sergei Mikhalkov (the author of the national anthem and father of Nikita Sergeyevich) once had a dacha here. The couple said they have three grandchildren, one of whom had an equestrian competition planned the day before, which significantly impacted their arrival time. The elderly couple hadn't been to Moscow for over 40 years and asked our guide for a private tour of the city's landmarks. A tour of the Kremlin, Alexander Garden, and Red Square quickly refreshed their memories of the capital. During the tour, the group became hungry, which led to lunch at GUM's Festival Café and Gastronom No. 1. Read more...

Recently, we conducted a sightseeing tour for a prestigious group of oil workers from Uzbekistan. Zarubezhneft approached us with a request to organize a private sightseeing tour by minibus for colleagues after official events. The main objective was quite traditional—to impress with the beauty of central Moscow, so it was absolutely necessary to miss Red Square, Zaryadye Hills, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and the Patriarch's Bridge. In addition to postcard views of the Kremlin and its surroundings, we showed the distinguished guests of the capital the entire Boulevard Ring. True, exploring the sights involved occasional stops in everyday traffic, but then, jostling in tight traffic has long been an important part of Moscow tradition. Read more...

Author's extended sightseeing tour of Moscow for VTB by minibus
We contacted Unistaff Corporate Communications (an international agency that has been organizing and hosting high-level corporate events since 2004): We need to organize a bus and walking tour for 15 people on April 6th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Guests need to be picked up from the Crowne Plaza Hotel, and the tour ends at Afimall, where they have dinner at 6:00 PM. The guests are Russian speakers, so the tour needs to be in Russian. We need something interesting, and a guide is essential. The participants are mostly men, with an average age of 45. We've been on sightseeing tours before, and this isn't our first time in Moscow. We need a guided tour; quests are not an option. We'll meet guests in the hotel lobby with a "VTB" sign. We've proposed a custom-designed itinerary, essentially an extended sightseeing program with a Ferris wheel for 4 hours: - The entire Boulevard Ring. Read more...

Belgrade-based hospitality professionals came to Moscow to provide professional support for the Hyatt Regency Moscow Petrovsky Park, which opened in 2017. Deciding to give them an engaging tour, we arranged a transfer from their overnight hotel to the city center. The first stop for these "brotherly" foreigners to discover Moscow was Red Square and the Kremlin. We visited the Floating Bridge and the hill on the northern landscape, offering a superb 360° view of the Kremlin and its surroundings in the popular and enchanting Zaryadye Park. The view becomes especially beautiful in the evening when the lights are turned on. In addition to visiting beautiful places, the guests enjoyed a new culinary experience. GUM, or more precisely, its famous GUM ice cream, was a real surprise. Read more...

We conducted an original tour of the very center, near the Kremlin, in English. For an Italian and a Russian. He is an entrepreneur from Milan, engaged in intermediary business between Russia and Italy in the field of dog food. She, with the help of our guide Elena, showed him Red Square, GUM, Zaryadye Park, Varvarka and everything nearby. The foreigner was pleased. Read more...

Local history isn't just about excursions. From time to time, fellow Moscow experts hold thematic conferences. Anton Latynin, head of our bureau, attended one such scientific and practical event, organized by the Basmania Museum. The venue was the Museum of Moscow on Zubovsky Boulevard. The conference, codenamed "Waters of Basmania," was dedicated to the historical and natural heritage of the Basmanny District. The invited experts focused on water—the Yauza River, its underground tributaries, and the historical heritage along its banks. They discussed various typologies of district identity, from palaces to factories. Of particular interest to conference guests and attendees was the experts' insights into the vibrant life of the city's rivers and streams, which is often invisible on the surface. Read more...

Have you noticed, friends, how hot spots and atmospheric drinking establishments have been popping up like mushrooms after rain in the capital's countryside in recent years? Whatever you say, our society is experiencing an extraordinary gastronomic boom right now. The variety of formats and ways to while away your time with a glass of wine is off the charts. Even the most seasoned connoisseurs of drinking establishments can't always keep up with new discoveries. Periodically, it's essential to patrol familiar streets and spot new establishments. With this goal in mind, two of our main drinking guides, Anton and Alexey, recently embarked on a reconnaissance mission to discover the latest "hot spots." The expedition was quite successful. The guys spotted several unique drinking holes. During their tour, they even came up with a preliminary concept for "Hot Spots 2," a sequel to the program beloved by many. Read more...

How much more expensive is organizing a personal tour than a mass one?
If you are alone or in pairs, then a sum of several thousand for a walk around the city or twenty thousand for a car excursion is noticeable.
But if you're going for a walk with family or friends, the cost per individual participant is closer to a thousand or two - about what each person would pay for a group excursion with strangers.
For a group of 8 or more people, the price becomes even lower when calculated per person, which makes an individual excursion truly attractive.
***
A mass excursion is tourism, an individual excursion is a journey through the city’s secrets with a personal guide.
