Temple Tour and Signature Gastronomic Tour of Moscow for Guests from China
At the end of April, we received a request from some guys in the vape business. Their partners from China were planning to come to Moscow for negotiations, and we needed to conduct a meeting for them. a driving tour in English of the capital's main attractions.
Elena was chosen as the guide for this group. She is fluent in English, loves sightseeing tours, and recently became one of 10 guides specializing in gastronomic excursions around Moscow.
Barney and Cheryl, entrepreneurs from China, had never been to Moscow before. So they decided to start their acquaintance with the city from the very center — Red Square. Despite the fact that the guys are Buddhists, they really wanted to visit St. Basil's Cathedral, among other places. They knew little about Christianity, so they asked the guide in advance to tell them more about it, including to take them to the main cathedrals of Moscow.
After visiting Red Square, Elena took foreigners to St. Basil's Cathedral, where they enjoyed and admired the decoration, and also listened to chants performed by a male church choir. Then the guide invited them to GUM to try coffee and legendary ice cream.
Guests from the Middle Kingdom liked the coffee break: they praised both the coffee and the ice cream. Then there was a visit to the festival cafes, where Barney and Cheryl, together with the guide, tasted lagman, dolma and kebabs. The businessmen were satisfied with the unfamiliar dishes.
After the signature meal, the guide took them to Zaryadye, where the excursionists walked, among other things, along the Floating Bridge. Then they went by minivan to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and to the Radisson Collection Hotel to see the city panoramas. The diarama at the Radisson Hotel, as well as the hotel interiors, impressed our Chinese businessmen so much that they even wanted to stay overnight at this hotel.
The unexpected rain made adjustments to the individual excursion of Barney and Cheryl. But the guide did not lose her head and suggested that they take advantage of the opportunity to continue the gastronomic part of the trip by visiting an Italian restaurant. There, the foreigners from China tried various drinks and dishes of Italian cuisine, then, having waited out the rain, continued to get to know Moscow under the sensitive guidance of our guide: they drove along Prechistenka, past the Novodevichy Convent, and visited a number of other places significant for Russian history and architecture.
