The first excursion was for transport workers – "Poklonnaya City." The route from Poklonnaya Gora to Moscow-City could be called the "From Wars to Business through the Soviet Union" tour. During the traditional reminiscences of this walk, one of the participants recounted his great-grandfather, a Don Cossack who fought in the Civil War, including on the White side, and became a full Cavalier of the Soviet Order of Glory during the Great Patriotic War. At the end, the guests ascended the Federation Tower skyscraper. During another corporate program, bakers from St. Petersburg learned more about Moscow. The best employees of one bread-producing company were given, among other things, a guided tour of the capital by car, which we warmly welcomed, and guide Alexey gave a competent introduction to the city. December is a wonderful time of year: plenty of snow, not too cold, no wind; everything is white, like in a fairy tale. We receive a request for an overnight sightseeing tour of the festive capital. The client, a man, wanted to surprise a colleague: he booked a limousine and decided to hire a Moscow guide from us. We discussed the details individually. A higher rate applies for the overnight rate (displayed in the order form). The client wanted something magical and romantic, and that's exactly what he got: a moderately snowy, festive city, minimal crowds on the streets, and an experienced personal guide for the client and his companion. Moscow is especially beautiful in the run-up to the New Year! There are fairs selling traditional delicacies, various New Year's decorations throughout the city, and, of course, the uniquely Russian New Year's atmosphere. Visitors are sometimes willing to travel from practically the other side of the world to join in the local festive winter festivities. For example, representatives of India are very fond of visiting Moscow. Last weekend, our guide conducted a personalized sightseeing tour in a minivan just for such clients. Two foreigners from India wanted to get to know Moscow better, learn more about its traditions and national symbols. In early November 2022, the monument to Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky, located on Red Square, was unveiled after restoration. The Ivanovo branch of the Russian Geographical Society, which was involved in the unveiling of this monument, commissioned a tour for its staff and students to commemorate the event. The guide was to meet the group at Vasilievsky Spusk at the designated time. Then, for an hour, they would share the most interesting and important moments related to the heroic deeds of Minin and Pozharsky, the monument itself, and highlights of nearby attractions. It's midweek, and a call arrives. A mortgage broker, who also happens to be celebrating his birthday, asks us to lead him on a "Hot Spots" tour this Friday evening. His friends gave him a certificate for this fun, alcoholic bar crawl. With certificates, the recipient only needs to name a convenient date and time for the tour and get the guide's contact information from us. Sometimes, all the guides offering a particular tour are booked on the requested date and time. In these cases, we offer clients alternatives: either a different day/time, or even a different route. In this case, everything worked out: a suitable guide was available for the requested date and time. Have you ever traveled around the city with a small group of friends or family on a vintage double-decker bus? And not just ride along a standard route, but choose your own desired locations, starting and ending points, and stop durations? Our clients, for example, have had this opportunity. Perhaps we can repeat it. We conducted our first private tour of this type this week. After receiving a request for this unusual order, we arranged a time and location with a friend who drives a vintage double-decker bus. We chose a guide experienced with children, as three of the four guests were children of various ages. We quoted the price to the client. It's midweek and we get a call: "Good afternoon. We're planning a birthday celebration this weekend. But the usual options aren't appealing anymore—we'd like to book a tour. Something fun, if possible." We accept the request and suggest a bar crawl. We begin preparations. One of the clients' requests was a list of bars along the route. Since the route is generally the same, but each guide has their own individual establishments, we first select an available guide and receive a deposit from the client. We ask the guide, Yegor, for a list of the establishments he plans to take the group to. We also clarify with the client what type of establishments they should visit: cafes or bars. We previously conducted a series of tours for Russian Railways (RZD) around Moscow City. This time, we took railway workers through the alleys of Kitay-Gorod as part of the "Soul of Moscow" route. Since there were over 240 participants, we divided them into 16 groups: four per day. After receiving the request, we sent the contract to the clients, coordinated it with a Russian Railways lawyer, and issued an invoice. We assigned the groups to the specified dates, at times convenient for both us and the client, and sent the lists to Russian Railways. In response, we received lists of participants for each group. The "Soul of Moscow" Kitay-Gorod tour is quite intimate, so it was not advisable to include more than 20 participants in each group. It's midweek in September. We receive a request for a private tour for a group of 25. The participants are international, flying to Moscow for an event. Shortly before their departure, the organizer realized it would be a good idea to take the group on a walking tour of the capital's center, preferably with a private guide. The customized tour had to be in English and scheduled to depart within a day of the request. The client wasn't sure whether they wanted a walking tour or a tour by public transportation. He asked for suggestions, including a budget. We offered them either a walking tour, "The Heart of the Capital," or a bus tour, but with a shorter duration to fit within their budget. The client chose the public transportation option. We found an available bus for them and selected an English-speaking guide from our team, available for the client's requested time. Read more...

This is not the first time we've conducted private tours for Nikoliers sales specialists around the MR Group residential complexes under construction. In such cases, the primary focus isn't limited to the historical context of the area. We also try to incorporate nearby green spaces, social amenities, kindergartens, schools, shopping and sports centers, cozy cafes, and quality restaurants into the tour program. As part of developing the corporate itinerary this time, we attempted to create a daily leisure scenario for future residents of the complexes within walking distance and sought to fully showcase the charms of the Savelovsky and Butyrsky districts. A client approached us with a request to conduct an English-language tour of Moscow for 10 remote employees from India. He asked us to suggest options. We offered a three-hour sightseeing tour in a Mercedes Sprinter around Red Square, with or without a visit to the Kremlin. The client settled on the following option: a corporate walking tour "The Heart of the Capital" with an emphasis on Russian culture, traditions, and overall meaning. Russians understand commitment, time, money, and business. We wanted to explain to foreign guests, in a profound way, who we are and why we are "the way we are." Participants: partners/employees of a Russian company from India. Tour language: English. Duration: 2.5 hours. 7-12 people. Excursion on the Radisson ship for doctors and medical workers
Last week, one of our guides, Egor, led a tour that wasn't quite our usual. The clients wanted a guide who not only had knowledge of Moscow's history and architecture, but also played a musical instrument, was able to moderate events, and host entertaining quizzes. Radius has such guides, too. We received a request for a tour for 50 doctors and medical workers about a week before the date. We agreed on the scenario and budget with the client. We received payment and sent the guide's contact information. Egor, an experienced, accredited, multilingual tour guide and a skilled musician, arrived at the Radisson pier at the appointed time, fully equipped with a speaker, microphone, guitar, and harmonica, and filled the corporate medical room. Late August. Excursions for bachelorette parties, birthdays, and weddings are in high demand! We're receiving two requests for excursions during a wedding, including the route from the registry office to the restaurant. One requested a tour using the agency's transportation, the other a walking tour. Both had romantic overtones, without dates or predetermined phrases. We're taking your requests into account. For the Moscow minibus tour, we developed two routes: one for rain, the other for clear weather. The exact number of guests in both groups wasn't known in advance. We initially announced 7-15 people each, aiming for the maximum. For the transportation excursion, we booked an 18-seat Mercedes Sprinter. The days of the excursions were fine in both cases. As you know, elections were held from September 9th to 11th. On this exciting day, Friday, Moscow City Hall ordered schoolchildren to take a walk... A cultural and meaningful stroll through Moscow's museums and streets with a guide. So, teachers and parents searched for tour agencies and chose from a selection of walking routes. We conducted five individual tours and were forced to turn away another six or seven potential clients due to the guides' availability. There was a rush at all the agencies. We walked along the routes of "Ghostbusters," "Arbat Secrets," and the classic "Heart of the Capital" surrounded by the Kremlin. For some, this wasn't just a tour, but a custom-designed quest tour.
