Tour of Moscow City for the management of JSC Russian Railways
In the spring, we conducted a private tour for several Russian Railways employees. They enjoyed it so much that they decided to book a corporate tour for seven groups from Russian Railways' management staff, totaling 79 people. Four groups followed the Poklonnaya City route and four followed the Uncle Gilyai route (about the life of the capital by the author of the legendary novel "Moscow and Muscovites"). We organized the tours. We requested all the necessary information from our clients, discussed the details, and sent the invoice. We also inquired with our partners, including Panorama 360, the main observation deck in Moscow City. We waited for the big day. For almost a year, we've been running minibus tours of Moscow for a large government organization. The service began with a request just before New Year's and has continued successfully to this day. Initially, these were almost monthly groups of up to 18 people in a Sprinter. Now, we rent a bus for new city tours, as the number of employees seeking a cultural ride keeps growing. Wedding tours are often requested. This Saturday, we had two wedding tours: a sightseeing tour by minibus for 12 people and a dream route, a customized tour for 25 people. Both began at the registry offices and ended at restaurants. We decided to add a twist to the sightseeing tour by minibus with a standard route, and the guide alternated between explaining the sights and singing along with the guests, using a harmonica and guitar. Not long ago, our artistic director, Anton Latynin, led a tour along the "Sweet Spots" route for the bloggers "Men at the Stove." The "men" themselves suggested collaborating, as they liked our website and especially liked the fact that the agency offered a tour with a culinary theme. The result of this creative collaboration is already available on YouTube. The route in the program is slightly different from the usual, but overall, all standards are met. This Saturday, we had two bachelorette party tours going on at the same time. One group chose the "Master and Margarita" route, the other the "Sinner Haunts" (the bar-hopping version). We booked both tours carefully, taking great care not only in choosing the original itineraries but also in selecting the guides. However, we didn't have to do any serious planning—the routes were ready-made. In both cases, we asked for young, charismatic, and cheerful male guides. They wanted them to be able to not only share interesting facts about history, architecture, and literature, but also crack a few jokes and simply liven up the female group while enjoying a few drinks in a civilized manner. It's a sultry July evening. We receive a request for tomorrow: a friendly family with their own small yacht is planning an organized trip along the Moscow River. They request a personal guide who can tell them about the buildings and monuments they encounter along the way, and about the city's history in general. Something interesting, not trivial. We find an available guide who doesn't get seasick. We inform the guide that the private tour will last 5 hours. However, since the one-way trip will take 2.5 hours, and the other 2.5 hours will be spent visiting previously covered landmarks, the latter part of the trip will probably be spent simply enjoying the scenery. A call came from the Nikoliers real estate agency. They asked us to organize and conduct a tour within a week of the SLAVA (Slava) luxury complex, currently under construction by MR Group, located on the site of the former watch factory of the same name, in the Begovoy district. It's located near the Belorussky railway station. The goal: to introduce the area, its advantages, and show the location of kindergartens, schools, cafes, etc. We agreed on the price of the corporate tour, including the route development (the tour is not listed on the website), and issued an invoice. We began creating the program. To cover more locations, we considered a scooter tour. Ultimately, we developed a cool, fresh route featuring the history of the area and its modern context, starting from the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker near Tverskaya Zastava and ending at the Slava apartment complex, which is currently under construction. We prepare glasses and a fruit plate, and order a bottle of sparkling wine from a wine shop—the client's colleague's favorite. We bring the "props" to the starting point. Urgent excursion for important guests from Uzbekistan
It's Monday morning, and the phone rings: "We have high-ranking guests arriving from Uzbekistan in two hours. We urgently need a tour, please help!" The task: meet the guests at the hotel exit and drive them to Red Square, where a guide will give them a basic 2.5-hour tour, possibly including a visit to the "Flight" attraction in Zaryadye. Then, the guests need to be taken to the Oceanarium at VDNKh, where the guide will take them for a walk and then drop them off. However, sometimes customers know exactly what theme they want their recipients to attend. One certificate ordered on December 21st was "Hot Spots." The adult children ordered it as a gift for their parents. The certificate is valid for five months. But in today's world, it's sometimes hard to predict the exact date of the excursion. The recipients of this certificate, for example, knew in advance that they wouldn't be able to attend on the specified date—they were notified in advance. In March, Mosgortur contractors approached us with a request to conduct a tour for journalists from Saratov. These journalists were from the tourism industry. Our goal was to make them fall in love with Moscow. Here's a brief tour organization. We discussed all the details with the client, including the cost, and on May 28th, the group arrived on the designated route. We were required to lead the tour in a minibus from point to point. From the train station to the hotel, from the hotel to the Depot for breakfast, from the Depot to VDNKh, and from VDNKh to the Youth Palace. The task: Organize a city tour for a group of 8 students and their accompanying teacher. The narration should be in English, preferably with quest elements.
