A month ago, the Gazprom Burenie company ordered the first excursion called “Soul of Moscow” and now, for several reasons, intend to make guided walks a monthly corporate tradition. Firstly, it brings the team very close and maintains team spirit in it. Secondly, excursions help you get to know the city better. Thirdly, it is the promotion of healthy and active recreation.

Today we held a corporate excursion “The Heart of the Capital” for the children. In total, about twenty people came.

The main request from the team was for a bright, positive and active pastime in a pedestrian format.

The excursion began at the monument to Cyril and Methodius, then the guide told about Zaryadye Park, Red Square, GUM, China-City Wall, and ended with a walk in the Alexander Garden.

The excursionists warned in advance that they would like to specifically stop in beautiful locations and take photographs there as souvenirs. For this they even invited a professional photographer. In general, the guide tried to find the most interesting places for them, and there they took a lot of photographs with the whole team.

By the way, the children really liked that the guide emphasized not only the history, but also the modern development of this area. For example, she talked about new projects that are currently being implemented there. One of them is the K5 Museum, which is soon to open in a restored shopping arcade building on Red Square. The guide also named online resources where you can see how Moscow has changed over time, and compare old and modern photographs of the city. For example, on the PastVu website you can see the old capital from different angles. The guests wrote everything down - they were so hooked by it.

We decided not to go into GUM because we were lucky with the weather: it was very sunny and warm, so it turned out to be a real spring author's walk.

By the way, during breaks the tourists asked a lot about the Radius project itself. They apparently really liked the organization and material of the excursions. At the end, the guys even applauded the guide - everyone was happy and said that they would come again.

In general, this team wants to get to know the city thoroughly and plans to take all the excursions that are available.

  3. This isn't my first time with Radius. This time, I took the Moscow metro . The goal was not only to admire the underground palaces but also to learn how to navigate the metro. As a resident of a region without a metro, I was a bit apprehensive and didn't understand how to navigate the metro. Of course, the internet helps, but live communication is much better. Tour guide Yulia handled this task perfectly. The information was accessible and interesting, the presentation was calm, and the communication style was very friendly.   5. Overall, the tour left a positive impression! Thanks to Alexander for the walk through the courtyards and atmospheric spots of Kitay-Gorod; we certainly wouldn't have done it on our own. The tour was comfortable, and the guide spoke confidently and calmly. One thing we personally missed: we would have liked more of the historical part, relating to ancient Moscow and the history of Kitay-Gorod. There were quite a few stories about the Soviet period and the bar scene, but for our group, this wasn't particularly relevant. We think the program could be a little more tailored to the age and interests of the group. It would also have been interesting to add more historical facts, monuments, and details about old Moscow and the area itself. That said, the tour was still interesting, and some places and churches were truly memorable. These aren't really "cons," but rather suggestions for an even more comprehensive program.
