Excursions for foreigners. Guides with knowledge of English, German and other languages

We have extensive experience in conducting excursions for foreigners, both general historical overviews and walks with a given emphasis, for example, about Russian culture, traditions, the concept of obligations, time, money and business among Russians. We can explain to foreign guests what we are like and why we are “like this”. And it’s just cool and stylish to introduce Moscow to foreigners! We conduct in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Hebrew.

Garrett Johnston on a private tour of Moscow's Golden Mile. A walk through the Prechistenka and Ostozhenka neighborhoods.

Anton gave Garrett Johnston a personal tour of Moscow. This Russian-speaking Irishman, a renowned business strategist, was a guest on the tour through the Prechistenka and Ostozhenka districts. Anton, who had enjoyed Garrett's interviews many times, was delighted to meet him in person. Incidentally, Donstroy, whose employees we recently conducted a series of tours for, approached Garrett for a consultation. The expert himself sought our advice to better understand the historical and cultural context of Moscow's elite neighborhoods. Read more...

Today, our agency managed to organize a personal tour for true stars! In Moscow, our guide, Sasha, accompanied the first African-American Mrs. World and her friends from the beauty pageant. It was a true highlight for all of us. Our guide took the participants to the capital's most iconic sites, including the Spasskaya Tower and Red Square. This unusual tour turned into a true cultural exchange: Sasha shared his knowledge, and a translator helped the African-American Miss World understand every word. It was a wonderful experience of interaction and collaboration. Read more...

The sixth day of our private tour of Moscow took a completely unexpected turn and turned into a vibrant and memorable event. Originally, we'd planned a walk through the metro stations, but our guest, Denise from Romania, suggested a change of plans. She's a believer and attends church weekly in her home country. Instead of a Sunday visit, she decided to go on Saturday, and the guide supported the idea. The choice fell on the church on Stoleshnikov Lane, which our guide regularly attends. That day, the church was hosting a children's liturgy—a special service held once a month. Read more...

New Tretyakov Gallery: Avant-garde and Socialist Realism. A Foreigner's Third Visit to Moscow / Day 5

How the Tretyakov Gallery Reveals the Spirit of Russian Art. A Foreigner's Third Visit to Moscow / Day 5

Tretyakov Gallery Reveals the Spirit of Russian Art

Friday began for our guide Elena and her guest Denise from Romania with a morning visit to the New Tretyakov Gallery. The guide met her at her hotel, and they took the metro to the museum. However, Denise immediately admitted that contemporary art impresses her less. Nevertheless, the visit to the exhibition was an excellent opportunity to see the Russian avant-garde in all its glory: works by Petrov-Vodkin, Goncharova, Larionov, Chagall, Malevich, and, of course, Suprematism. Socialist Realism was also on display, with paintings by Pimenov, Konchalovsky, and other masters of the period. Read more...

On the fourth day of a private tour in Moscow, our guide Elena gave her guest a packed itinerary. It all began with a visit to the panoramic deck on the 89th floor of the Moscow-City complex. They reached the complex by metro, allowing them to experience the rhythm of city life. A surprise awaited them at the deck: the Chistaya Liniya company presented a new product—hot frozen tea. These were brightly colored berry bars that simply needed boiling water to create a fragrant drink. Read more...

Who would have thought that a personal tour of Moscow could turn into a true journey through art, gastronomy, and shopping? The guide began our English-speaking guest's walk with a visit to the Tretyakov Gallery. It was the third day of the program, and it promised to be action-packed. The tour of the Tretyakov Gallery lasted about two hours. The guest, who had already visited the Hermitage and many European galleries, was impressed by the collection of Russian art. She particularly enjoyed the classical works, although for some reason she declined to have her photo taken with them. Read more...

The second day of our individual program took place at VDNKh. Our guest had been there before, but was so impressed by the place that she wanted to return. The guide picked her up from her hotel, and they took the metro to the exhibition complex. The tour, in English, began with a tour of the national pavilions. Our guest showed particular interest in Central Asia and purchased food, cosmetics, and small souvenirs. She had originally planned to go ice skating, but as a dental surgeon, she decided not to risk it. She explained that a hand injury could affect her work. Read more...

A third visit to Russia, language learning, and plans to move—that's how our personal tour began for Denisa, who is in love with Moscow and its culture. She had already been here last summer, and before that, in 2019, she visited St. Petersburg. This time, she arrived in January, six months after her last visit (photo report here), and judging by her passion for the Russian language and films, Moscow could become her future home. We're delighted that this charming foreigner chose us again, and we again provided her with Elena as her guide. Read more...

Today's private tour began in an unexpected place—in the very heart of Moscow, on Krivokolenny Lane, where the guide met our guests at their hotel. The original plan was to tell the participants about the history of the ancient alleys and buildings, but plans changed slightly: the guests' first task was to find a bank to exchange currency. It was their only day in the capital before their trip to Norilsk, so the guide helped them get their bearings. The snowfall and cold Moscow air were surprising to the guests, especially considering their next destination was harsh Norilsk. Read more...

She exclusively constructs bridges in jaws, to which implants are then attached, while her colleagues perform the rest of the work. Her own dental clinic is not just a business, but the result of her hard work and skill. By all accounts, she is successful and works hard. She lives in a house near Kraevo, which she can reach within half an hour. Read more...

Today, guide Elena gave a spontaneous, customized tour in English for a foreign tourist from Italy. They met on Pyatnitskaya Street, where the young man was driven by a Russian client in a Maybach. Alexander asked her to show Alexio around Zamoskvorechye and take him to Kitay-Gorod. The personal guide and the young tourist began their Moscow tour on Chernigovsky Lane, where they entered the courtyard with the Anna Akhmatova monument. Elena told Alexio about the Russian poet's affair with the Italian artist Modigliani, whose design served as the inspiration for the sculpture. Read more...

On the first day of summer, guests from China arrived in Moscow to take a guided tour of the city and learn many new and interesting things about the capital. The tour was conducted using radio guides: Elena spoke into a microphone, and the guests heard her voice through headphones. The guide was also assisted by a translator, who explained any confusing points. The guests were eager to have Radius staff show them around the capital, so they agreed to have the tour translated into English. The group numbered over forty people, and guide Elena met them in Skolkovo. Read more...

How much more expensive are personal tours than mass tours?

If you are alone or in pairs, then a sum of several thousand for a walking tour or twenty thousand for a car excursion is significant.

But if you're going for a walk with family or friends, the cost for an individual participant approaches one or two thousand - the amount that each person would pay for a group excursion with strangers.

For your group of 8 or more people, the price becomes even lower when calculated per person, making a private tour truly attractive.
