Excursions in English in Moscow. English speaking guides (page 2)

Our guides are fluent in foreign languages, so we conduct excursions in “good” English. You can rent an English-speaking guide for hours/days, or you can choose a ready-made route from our excursion menu (prices are also indicated there), and we will conduct this excursion in English. Walking, car, bus and river transport are available throughout Moscow.

Let's be honest - a tour is not just a route and facts, but an atmosphere. This is what our guides create: intelligent, sophisticated, with a sense of humor and a sincere love for Moscow. "Radius" is not an "old" school with memorized material, but live storytellers who know how to feel the audience and turn the tour into a fascinating journey through time.

Doubt it? See what emotions our tours leave in foreigners. Your guests will not just get to know Moscow — they will feel it. Give them such an experience.

Tour of Zaryadye for a Chinese group

A businessman from China, his assistant, and their Russian business partner on the Floating Bridge in Zaryadye

Not long ago, we conducted a sightseeing tour of the city by car for a group from China. The group consisted of a businessman, his assistants, and their business partner from Russia. The group met in Moscow to discuss work matters but also decided to learn more about the city. Our guide took the Chinese guests to Vorobyovy Gory, Red Square, and other iconic Moscow landmarks. The tour also included the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a walk through Zaryadye, and, of course, the Floating Bridge. The group and guide also sampled ice cream at GUM, enjoyed a cozy getaway at Coffee Mania, and viewed a diorama in one of Stalin's skyscrapers. The Chinese businessman proved to be quite knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the capital: he asked insightful questions and listened with interest to our guide's answers. We received a request for three tours for two guests from England: Diana and Miso. Diana is half-Georgian, formerly a Muscovite, and has been living happily in London for 17 years. Miso is her friend, an Englishman, who had never been to Moscow before. Diana occasionally visits Moscow to visit her mother, but she hasn't been everywhere and doesn't remember much, so she decided to introduce her friend to the capital by contacting us. We selected an available English-speaking guide from our team, received a deposit from the client, decided on a theme, and on the appointed day, Miso and Diana began their multi-day excursion with us in English. Since Miso had never been to Moscow before, we decided to start in the center. On the first day, the guide took the group to the Kremlin and the Armory Chamber, then we walked around the city. At the end of April, we received a request from some guys in the vape business. Their Chinese partners were planning to come to Moscow for negotiations, and they needed a guided tour in English of the capital's main sights. Elena was chosen as the guide for the group. She is fluent in English, enjoys sightseeing tours, and recently became one of 10 guides specializing in gastronomic tours in Moscow. Barney and Cheryl, entrepreneurs from China, had never been to Moscow before. So, they decided to start their exploration of the city from the very center – Red Square. Despite being Buddhists, they were eager to visit St. Basil's Cathedral, among other places. They knew little about Christianity, so they asked the guide in advance to tell them more about it, including taking them to Moscow's main cathedrals. Read more...

Belgrade-based hospitality professionals came to Moscow to provide professional support for the Hyatt Regency Moscow Petrovsky Park, which opened in 2017. Deciding to give them an engaging tour, we arranged a transfer from their overnight hotel to the city center. The first stop for these "brotherly" foreigners to discover Moscow was Red Square and the Kremlin. We visited the Floating Bridge and the hill on the northern landscape, offering a superb 360° view of the Kremlin and its surroundings in the popular and enchanting Zaryadye Park. The view becomes especially beautiful in the evening when the lights are turned on. In addition to visiting beautiful places, the guests enjoyed a new culinary experience. GUM, or more precisely, its famous GUM ice cream, was a real surprise. Read more...

Moscow is especially beautiful in the run-up to the New Year! There are fairs selling traditional delicacies, various New Year's decorations throughout the city, and, of course, the uniquely Russian New Year's atmosphere. Visitors are sometimes willing to travel from practically the other side of the world to join in the local festive winter festivities. For example, representatives of India are very fond of visiting Moscow. Last weekend, our guide conducted a personalized sightseeing tour in a minivan just for such clients. Two foreigners from India wanted to get to know Moscow better, learn more about its traditions and national symbols. We gave them a private car tour of the main sights in English, including a visit to the skating rink on Red Square. Read more...

It's midweek in September. We receive a request for a private tour for a group of 25. The participants are international, flying to Moscow for an event. Shortly before their departure, the organizer realized it would be a good idea to take the group on a walking tour of the capital's center, preferably with a private guide. The customized tour had to be in English and scheduled to depart within a day of the request. The client wasn't sure whether they wanted a walking tour or a tour by public transportation. He asked for suggestions, including a budget. We offered them either a walking tour, "The Heart of the Capital," or a bus tour, but with a shorter duration to fit within their budget. The client chose the public transportation option. We found an available bus for them and selected an English-speaking guide from our team, available for the client's requested time. Read more...

A client approached us with a request to conduct an English-language tour of Moscow for 10 remote employees from India. He asked us to suggest options. We offered a three-hour sightseeing tour in a Mercedes Sprinter around Red Square, with or without a visit to the Kremlin. The client settled on the following option: a corporate walking tour "The Heart of the Capital" with an emphasis on Russian culture, traditions, and overall meaning. Russians understand commitment, time, money, and business. We wanted to explain to foreign guests, in a profound way, who we are and why we are "the way we are." Participants: partners/employees of a Russian company from India. Tour language: English. Duration: 2.5 hours. 7-12 people. Meeting points: Kitay-Gorod metro station, Slavyanskaya Square, and the Cyril and Methodius Monument. We delivered, and both the foreigners and the clients were satisfied. Read more...

With the school holidays approaching, along with several other requests for school excursions, we received a call from Natalia, an 8th-grade teacher. Natalia asked to conduct a tour with quest elements for her students. It would be in the vicinity of the Kremlin. She would speak in English. She immediately stated the number of students and the approximate dates. We assigned this request to our guide, Anastasia. The task: Organize a city tour for a group of 8 students and their accompanying teacher. The narration should be in English, preferably with quest elements. A few days before the tour, the group needs to receive a glossary of terms used on the tour itinerary. Natalia initially didn't know the exact date they could attend, but she provided it later. Author's tour in English for a guest from the UAE

The New Year's bustle in Moscow. People mostly book the "Heart of the Capital" tour, the sightseeing tour by transport, and the "Journey to Christmas." But then we get a request: a guest from the Emirates, visiting Moscow for the first time, would like to see not only Red Square but also Moscow's churches, temples, and monasteries. We've decided to combine the "Heart of the Capital" tour around Red Square and the "Soul of Moscow" tour through Kitay-gorod. To combine "Heart of the Capital" with the temple theme, we can offer the following: a side visit to the churches on Varvarka Street (there are several) and the Kazan Cathedral on Red Square. These are significant churches where you can also take a dip. We also offer the "Soul of Moscow" tour, which includes the Orthodox Ivanovsky Monastery, a synagogue, and a Lutheran cathedral. Recently. A call at 11:00 PM. Requesting urgent assistance with a tour for tomorrow, at 12:00 PM. Doctors from a large veterinary clinic: Guests have arrived, representatives of the Kyon company, "really cool veterinary surgeons" from Austria. We need to provide them with a great time, show them around Moscow—a tour in English. We offered several themed tours of Moscow to choose from. But for foreigners, and this is no secret, they often choose either Red Square or a Moscow sightseeing tour by car. (But there are exceptions, like this one.) He assured us that our guides are great. They paid in advance. The client asked the guide to write to the guests himself, saying, "We're meeting tomorrow, see you later, and that's it." Guide: Hi, good evening! Your colleague had organized you a guided walking tour around the city center for tomorrow. Read more...

  • We pay special attention to the places that interest you.
  • At individual excursion you dive deeper.

How much more expensive are personal tours than mass tours?

If you are alone or in pairs, then a sum of several thousand for a walking tour of the city or twenty thousand for a car excursion is significant.

But if you're going for a walk with family or friends, the cost for an individual participant approaches one or two thousand - the amount that each person would pay for a group excursion with strangers.

For your group of 8 or more people, the price becomes even lower when calculated per person, which makes individual excursion around Moscow truly attractive.

***
A mass excursion is tourism, an individual excursion is a journey through the city’s secrets with a personal guide.
