Sightseeing tour of Moscow by car
Individual excursion to the sights of Moscow by Mercedes car (or equivalent)
Enjoy postcard views of the Russian capital from the windows of a comfortable minivan/minibus. A basic sightseeing program involves getting to know the main attractions of Moscow: Red Square, Bolshoi Theater, Zaryadye Park, Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Gorky Park, Luzhniki, Sparrow Hills, Mosfilm, Victory Park, Moscow City, New Arbat, Boulevard Ring, Tverskaya Street, Novodevichy monastery, GES-2. If you have special wishes, we are always ready to add a “zest” to the standard route.
Excursions are carried out in comfortable Mercedes Benz cars - “Viano” / “V-Class” minivans (or analogues) and a “Sprinter” minibus.
Background
Combinations of Radius guides and drivers, as well as the starting and ending points of the route, convenient for a particular client, make each sightseeing and historical walk exclusive, and you can be sure that you are getting a truly individual trip, and not just a standard route through the sights of the capital.
The exact route of the Sightseeing Tour is determined by the place where the car is delivered, your preferences, as well as the road and security conditions in Moscow. Our guides are not only good storytellers, but will also be able to plan a route and choose the best access to the sightseeing attraction.
For example, an individual sightseeing tour by car from the Baltschug Kempinski Hotel, located in Zamoskvorechye, may look like this.
We deliver the car to your hotel and cross to the opposite bank. We park on Vasilievsky Spusk. We look at Red Square and part of Zaryadye Park (we allow half an hour to an hour for a walking tour). Then we drive along the embankment to the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. There we make a stop and go up to the Patriarch's Bridge (about 15-20 minutes) with a story about the newest art space in Moscow - GES-2. Then we go along Prechistenka and Pirogovka to the Novodevichy Convent. Given the timing of 4 o'clock, we can plan a stop there with a 15-20 minute walk. Through the Third Ring we go down to the Metrobridge. We park on Vorobyovy Gory (stop for 15-20 minutes). Then we drive along Mosfilmovskaya, Minskaya and Kutuzovsky Prospekt. We pass Victory Park. Then, via the Third Ring Road, we drive onto Presnenskaya Embankment to the Moscow-City business center. There, you can make a short stop of 5-7 minutes. Then we move along the embankments towards the center. On the way "home", we will pass Novy Arbat, Nikitsky and Tverskoy Boulevards, Tverskaya Street, Okhotny Ryad, Teatralnaya and Lubyanskaya Squares, Kitay-Gorodsky Proezd, Moskvoretskaya Embankment. We will finish near an atmospheric restaurant or your hotel - the excursion will be complete.
During the New Year holidays and Christmas, we adapt the Sightseeing Tour to the Festive Observation: we talk about the traditions of folk festivals, analyze the background of our favorite holiday, drive through the most significant symbols of the capital and admire their bright Christmas beauty. Each route is unique, but, for example, at GES-2 we notice a stylish Christmas market with an original design - there is a small skating rink and they sell all sorts of buns. The Patriarchal Bridge is beautifully decorated. In front of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior there is a Nativity scene (it is also interesting for children). Then on the Sparrows there are balls/Christmas trees. The roof of Luzhniki congratulates you on the New Year. At the Arc de Triomphe there is a huge Father Frost with the Snow Maiden and a flying sleigh with horses. The City's skyscrapers are illuminated in a special way on New Year's Eve, and so is New Arbat.
Additionally
— What to do if we change our minds?
In case of cancellation or rescheduling of the excursion on the day of its intended conduct, we will withhold the prepayment already made in part or in full. This is due to the penalty policy of car rental services, as well as our guide schedule. If you notify us more than 24 hours in advance, we will fully refund the advance payment if you change your mind, and will not require additional payment if you reschedule the excursion.
— WITHHow many stops and walks are there during the excursion by car?
If the Sightseeing tour lasts 3 hours, then there are 3 exits from the car: for example, Vasilyevsky Spusk (Red Square) or Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Vorobyovy Gory, Moscow City. Sometimes In the course of three hours it turns out to make 4 stops.
If the excursion lasts 4 hours, then 4-5 exits and walks: the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and/or Novodevichy Convent are added, and the stops themselves are made longer.
Please note that the stopping places during the Sightseeing Tour may change due to the road and security conditions in Moscow, as well as the location of the car delivery and your preferences, which, if any, are best stated in advance. For example, Red Square is periodically closed (often the time of its closure is unknown in advance), since the square is a sensitive facility, and then you will not be able to visit it. But we can make a stop near Zaryadye Park and take a walk around Red Square. For other guests, on the contrary, “Red Square is not needed” - in this case, the place of the walking stop can be changed.
— Can we get into a traffic jam?
In general, excursions are free of traffic jams. Much depends on the route, time of day and year. Traffic jams are rare in the summer, but return in the fall. Peak: evenings before New Year. If you get stuck in a traffic jam, the duration of the excursion does not change, and the cost of the excursion is not compensated. Force majeure circumstances, so to speak. However, since the format of the excursions involves a leisurely ride and a constant narrative from the guide, if we slow down somewhere, we won’t be bored!
— Is it possible to make additional car stops, for example, on Tverskaya or Arbat?
It is important to consider where parking is provided. In principle, there are none on Tverskaya. All of the stops listed above offer this opportunity. On Arbat (and other places) we can stop in the side streets, but in order to fit the Sightseeing Tour into 3 hours, you need to exchange one for another, for example, Red Square for Arbat. Or we can extend the Sightseeing Tour to 4-5 or more hours. Then you can walk with a guide to many places.
By the way, parking in the center of Moscow is paid, but in most cases we pay for it ourselves. If parking turns out to be long at the request of the client and in total costs more than 500-1000 rubles, then we can ask the client to pay for parking. But this rarely happens - the guide and driver control the situation.
— Is it possible to travel by car not through the most famous sights of Moscow, but along another route that is interesting to us?
Yes. For example, we can conduct any of the themed walking tours presented in excursion menu. It is also possible to visit individual locations of interest to you by car. In these cases, the excursion may be more expensive than a standard sightseeing tour of Moscow by car. Although it is not quite correct to say “standard” — excursions are conducted by different “Radius” guides with different drivers from points convenient for clients, which means that we do not have absolutely identical “standard” routes — all sightseeing and historical walks are different and truly individual.
— Everything is great, but do you have discounts, benefits or installment plans for excursions by car?
Yes. You can pay for the excursion in shares.
“Shares” from Tinkoff helps you divide the cost of an excursion into four equal payments - without commission or additional fees. You will receive the excursion immediately (on the selected date) after paying for the first part. The remaining three will be debited from your card automatically, at intervals of two weeks. Before each payment, Tinkoff will send you a reminder of the debit date. More details about “Shares”: www.tinkoff.ru/dolyame/.
You don’t need any documents or payment of interest to receive an installment plan (we will pay the interest to Tinkoff). Simply select the “Shares” payment method when ordering an excursion (order form below) and place your order. Next, Tinkoff Bank will ask for your phone number and instantly decide whether you can use “Shares”. If everything is OK, the bank’s website will ask for your card details for the first payment.
That is, when ordering an excursion, simply choose the “Shares” payment method and follow the system.

A young woman who came to Moscow from Romania lives in the small town of Kraevo in the south of the country. She is a dental implantologist by profession. She has many years of study behind her: six years at university and another five years in the surgical department. She exclusively constructs bridges in jaws, to which implants are then attached, while her colleagues perform the rest of the work. Her own dental clinic is not just a business, but the result of her hard work and skill. By all accounts, she is successful and works hard. She lives in a house near Kraevo, which she can reach within half an hour. Read more...

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. "Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
