Alcohol excursion “Great Places” for a birthday

Author: Nastya (page 2)

Anastasia is a manager at the Radius bureau. His formal voice and politeness. Nastya answers calls and letters, organizes excursions, finds us the best guides and vehicle suppliers, describes cases about non-standard excursions of the bureau.

We previously conducted a series of tours for Russian Railways (RZD) around Moscow City. This time, we took railway workers through the alleys of Kitay-Gorod as part of the "Soul of Moscow" route. Since there were over 240 participants, we divided everyone into 16 groups: four per day. After receiving the request, we sent the client a contract, coordinated it with a Russian Railways lawyer, and issued an invoice. We assigned groups to the specified dates, at times convenient for both us and the client, and sent the lists to Russian Railways. In response, we received lists of participants for each group. The "Soul of Moscow" Kitay-Gorod tour is quite intimate, so it was not advisable to include more than 20 participants in each group. We also specified different start times for each group to avoid any overlap. Read more...

It's midweek in September. We receive a request for a private tour for a group of 25. The participants are international, flying to Moscow for an event. Shortly before their departure, the organizer realized it would be a good idea to take the group on a walking tour of the capital's center, preferably with a private guide. The customized tour had to be in English and scheduled to begin the day after the request was received. The client wasn't sure whether they wanted a walking tour or a tour by public transportation. He asked for suggestions, including a budget. We offered them either a walking tour, "The Heart of the Capital," or a bus tour, but with a shorter duration to fit within their budget. The client chose the public transportation option. We found an available bus for them and selected an English-speaking guide from our team, available for the client's requested time. Read more...

Excursion on the Radisson ship for doctors and medical workers

Last week, one of our guides, Egor, led a tour that wasn't quite our usual. The clients wanted a guide who not only had knowledge of Moscow's history and architecture, but also played a musical instrument, was able to moderate events, and host entertaining quizzes. Radius has such guides, too. We received a request for a tour for 50 doctors and medical workers about a week before the date. We agreed on the scenario and budget with the client. We received payment and sent the guide's contact information. Egor, an experienced, accredited, multilingual tour guide and a skilled musician, arrived at the Radisson pier at the appointed time, fully equipped with a speaker, microphone, guitar, and harmonica, and filled the corporate medical scene. Walking wedding tour of the Patriarch's Ponds

Late August. Excursions for bachelorette parties, birthdays, and weddings are in high demand! We're receiving two requests for excursions during a wedding, including the route from the registry office to the restaurant. One requested a tour using the agency's transportation, the other a walking tour. Both had romantic overtones, without dates or predetermined phrases. We're taking your requests into account. For the Moscow minibus tour, we developed two routes: one for rain, the other for clear weather. The exact number of guests in both groups wasn't known in advance. We initially announced 7-15 people each, aiming for the maximum. For the transportation excursion, we booked an 18-seat Mercedes Sprinter. The days of the excursions were fine in both cases. Tour of Moscow City for the management of JSC Russian Railways

Tour of Moscow City for the management of JSC Russian Railways

In the spring, we conducted a private tour for several Russian Railways employees. They enjoyed it so much that they decided to book a corporate tour for seven groups from Russian Railways' management staff, totaling 79 people. Four groups followed the Poklonnaya City route and four followed the Uncle Gilyai route (about the life of the Moscow metropolitan author of the legendary novel "Moscow and Muscovites"). We organized the tours. We requested all the necessary information from our clients, discussed the details, and sent the invoice. We also inquired with our partners, including Panorama 360, the main observation deck in Moscow City. We waited for the big day. On the first scheduled Saturday, the guides awaited the tour participants at the designated location on Poklonnaya Hill. The two-and-a-half-hour walking portion of the tour concluded at Moscow City. Excursion support to the Red October factory

Excursion to the Red October factory

At the Red October factory

— Hello, is this the tour assistance team? — Good afternoon. Yes. What date and how many people would you like to book for? — We're organizing a corporate tour of the Red October factory in three days. We're short on guides. We'd like to book a guide who would tell guests about Moscow and its sights along the way to the factory. She'd be interesting, truthful, and have no dates. We're sending Nastya. We explain the task: to give a great overview of Moscow along the way to the factory, supervise the entry of the tour vehicles through the ancient front gates, and hand the guests over to the factory guide. We inform the client of the cost and accept payment. The guests in this case had their own tour bus. On the appointed day and time, the vehicle, the tour participants, and the guide arrived at the designated location, from where they departed for the factory. Read more...

A few words about regular tourists on historical walks around the capital

For almost a year, we've been running minibus tours of Moscow for a large government organization. The service began with a request just before New Year's and has continued successfully to this day. Initially, these were almost monthly groups of up to 18 people in a Sprinter. Now, we're renting a bus for new city tours, as the number of employees seeking a cultural ride keeps growing. It goes like this: Once a month, we receive tour requests. We develop a route that might appeal to the client. We offer options from our existing tour menu, but we also create something new to suit the client. We write a description and send it to the client. Once approved, we invoice. Read more...

Excursion to a wedding. Twice

Singing guide Egor during a wedding tour of Moscow by minibus

Guide Egor takes a tour to a wedding

Wedding tours are often requested. This Saturday, we had two wedding tours: a sightseeing tour by minibus for 12 people and a dream route, a customized tour for 25 people. Both began at the registry offices and ended at restaurants. We decided to add a twist to the sightseeing tour by minibus with a standard route, and the guide alternated between explaining the sights and singing along with the guests, using a harmonica and guitar. The client was notified in advance, and they promised to sing along. The second tour was more moderate. Led by the director of the Radius bureau, the guests visited the Novodevichy Convent and other important places. Read more...

Excursion "Sinister Places" for bloggers "Men at the Stove"

Not long ago, our artistic director, Anton Latynin, led a tour along the "Sweet Spots" route for the bloggers "Men at the Stove." The "men" themselves suggested collaborating, as they liked our website and especially liked the fact that the agency offered a tour with a culinary theme. The result of this creative collaboration is already available on YouTube. The route in the program is slightly different from the usual, but overall, all standards are met. We offer this private tour to clients who request "something unusual," "something with a tasting," or "something fun." Guests can arrange a tasting on-site, based on the guide's recommendation or their own taste buds. Suggestions for establishments along the route are taken into account. Read more...

Hen-party. Alcohol excursion... and a cheerful man guide

This Saturday, we had two bachelorette party tours going on at the same time. One group chose the "Master and Margarita" route, the other the "Sinner Haunts" (the bar-hopping version). We booked both tours carefully, taking great care not only in choosing the original itineraries but also in selecting the guides. However, we didn't have to do any serious planning—the routes were ready-made. In both cases, we asked for young, charismatic, and cheerful male guides. They wanted them to be able to not only share interesting facts about history, architecture, and literature, but also crack a few jokes and simply liven up the female group while enjoying a few drinks in a civilized manner. For the "Master and Margarita" tour, the guide was Anton Latynin, artistic director of Radius. Read more...

Vile places. An excursion that smoothly turned into a birthday celebration

It's Friday evening. A young man calls: "Hello. It's my birthday tomorrow. We'd like to celebrate with a group of 10-15 people. We want it to be more than just a drinking binge, but something intelligent, fun, and meaningful. What can you suggest and organize?" The first thing that comes to mind is a tour called "Sweet Spots," where a group of tourists are taken to bars or restaurants—whatever suits them best. We suggest this option to the client. He approves. We ask which of our guides specializing in this route is available at the requested time. We send the client their contact information so we can discuss all the details and see if our vision for the tour aligns. We then share the price. The client had many ideas for the route. Excursion on a private yacht along the Moscow River

Family excursion on a private yacht in Moscow

Excursion for a family on a yacht along the Moscow River

It's a sultry July evening. We receive a request for tomorrow: a friendly family with their own small yacht is planning an organized trip along the Moscow River. They request a personal guide who can tell them about the buildings and monuments they encounter along the way, and about the city's history in general. Something interesting, not trivial. We find an available guide who doesn't get seasick. We inform the guide that the private tour will last 5 hours. However, since the one-way trip will take 2.5 hours, and the other 2.5 hours will be spent visiting previously covered landmarks, the latter part of the trip will probably be spent simply enjoying the scenery. The client has indicated that a narration will not be required on the return trip. At the appointed time, the guide arrives at the pier near Moscow City and boards the specified yacht. Read more...

Excursion for realtors around the Slava residential complex from MR Group on Tverskaya

An interesting excursion for realtors of MR Group residential complex “Slava”

Corporate excursion for realtors on an individual route

A call came from the Nikoliers real estate agency. They asked us to organize and conduct a tour within a week of the SLAVA (Slava) luxury complex, currently under construction by MR Group, located on the site of the former watch factory of the same name, in the Begovoy district. It's located near the Belorussky railway station. The goal: to introduce the area, its advantages, and show the location of kindergartens, schools, cafes, etc. We agreed on the price of the corporate tour, including the route development (the tour is not listed on the website), and issued an invoice. We began creating the program. To cover more locations, we considered a scooter tour. Ultimately, we developed a cool, fresh route featuring the history of the area and its modern context, starting from the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker near Tverskaya Zastava and ending at the Slava apartment complex, which is currently under construction. Scooter tour, collaboration with Yurent

Author's tour of Moscow on Yurent scooters

Author's tour on scooters

It's late June, and we get a call from the scooter rental service Yurent. They say they like our range of tours and would like to explore collaboration. They explain that they're new to the business but plan to grow, and they offer two options for a business relationship between our companies. We choose the most suitable option. We agree to do a test run in a week and a half. But a request for a scooter tour of the city arrives earlier—instead of a test order, we begin testing the partnership plan right away. The tour organization goes something like this: We find a guide willing to lead a scooter tour and ask them to prepare a convenient route based on the client's chosen topic. We inform the client of the start and end points, the guide's contact information, and the tour price. Read more...
