And these houses are living witnesses to incredible literary inspiration and talent. The Scriabin House-Museum, lost in the Arbat alleys, will remind you of the music of the “Belle Epoque”.
Along the cozy and crowded pedestrian Arbat you will pass by the Vakhtangov Theater and the Tsoi Wall, you will find an amazing beehive house, the Spasohaus on Spasopeskovskaya Square, the house of Bulat Okudzhava and the Pushkin museum complex. The excursion is crowned by the stunning high-rise building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - one of seven “sisters” built in the 40-50s of the last century.

A year ago, we organized a drinking excursion for Yandex near Moscow State University. Today, we're summing up our collaboration with the IT giant and their "Summer Together" project this year. As part of the corporate event, Yandex employees were immersed in our bureau's fascinating city tours every week. On Saturdays, six individual groups embarked on a journey through Moscow's cultural attractions, accompanied not only by guides but also by curators who assisted with organizational matters and assessed the guests' impressions. The next day, the German ladies rode not only by car but also on the metro, checking out the beautiful stations, and then strolled along Arbat. "Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
