Space routes and secrets of old Moscow
Thursday morning began with a fascinating tour for employees of Talant, a company actively entering the Moscow real estate market. Our guide took the group on a walk through Exhibition of Achievements of National EconomyTo immerse guests in the country's national character and history, the tour began at the Monument to the Conquerors of Space, where the importance of teamwork was emphasized. The guide led participants through the main entrance to the central part of the exhibition, where the influence of art on modern life was discussed, using the example of a cable car inspired by the TV series "Guests from the Future."
Continuing the tour, the group reached Kolkhoz Square, where the concept behind the exhibition's layout, implemented back in the 1930s, was revealed. The "Moscow Model" pavilion was particularly intriguing, where the participants gazed with genuine interest at the construction sites and recognized the buildings and residential complexes they had worked on. Had they not needed to move on, they might have lingered there for a while.
The construction materials pavilion also attracted the attention of the participants. A fascinating moment occurred on the VDNKh grounds during a festival of national Russian cuisines. Guests enjoyed taking photos with people in national costumes, which perfectly complemented the theme of introducing Russian culture. The tour was lively and engaging.
That evening, our guide gave a tour to employees of the business center located in the converted Stanislavsky factory. Although the area was familiar to the participants, as they passed by it daily on their way to work, the history of the area's merchants and coachmen proved new and captivating. The tour began at the Taganskaya metro station, where streets and alleys that usually go unnoticed were revealed in a new light. Many participants remarked that they would now view familiar places and buildings completely differently, discovering them from an unexpected perspective.
