In March, contractors from the Moscow City Tourism approached us with a request to conduct a tour for journalists from Saratov. Journalists from the tourism sector. Our task was to make them fall in love with Moscow.

Brief organization of the excursion. We discussed all the details with the customer, including the cost, and on May 28 the group arrived at the specified route.

We were required to lead a tour in a minibus from point to point. From the station to the hotel, from the hotel to the Depot for breakfast, from the Depot to VDNKh, from VDNKh to the Palace of Youth. Along the way we fell in love with the city – that’s our task!) 

The guests and the customer were satisfied, we are now discussing long-term cooperation to conduct similar excursions for the next groups of journalists and bloggers from other cities.

  2. Overall, the tour left a positive impression! Thanks to Alexander for the walk through the courtyards and atmospheric spots of Kitay-gorod; we certainly wouldn't have experienced it on our own. The tour was comfortable, and the guide spoke confidently and calmly.

    What we personally missed: we would have liked more of a historical section related to ancient Moscow and the history of Kitay-gorod. There were quite a few stories about the Soviet period and bar life, but for our group, it wasn't very relevant. We think the program could have been more tailored to the age and interests of the group.

    It would also have been interesting to add more historical facts, monuments, and details about old Moscow and the area itself. That said, the tour was still interesting, and some places and churches were truly memorable. These aren't really "cons," but rather suggestions for an even more comprehensive program.
