The sun rose slowly over the Kremlin, painting the ancient walls in golden hues. The morning in Moscow was clear and cool, as is often the case at the beginning of autumn. In the quiet Red Square, only the footsteps of the few passers-by, hurrying about their business, could be heard.
Among them, one man stood out, whose figure attracted attention. It was none other than merchant Savva Morozov, known for his trade and patronage. He walked with a worried expression on his face, lost in his thoughts.
On this day, an art exhibition sponsored by Morozov was to open in Moscow. However, it was not only art that occupied his mind. There were rumors that a mysterious man named Woland had appeared in the city, whose influence was spreading with alarming speed. Morozov did not believe in mysticism, but rumors of strange disappearances and thefts could not help but disturb him.
Suddenly, as if from nowhere, a tall man in a black cloak appeared before him. It was Woland, whose eyes seemed to penetrate into his very soul. Morozov became wary, but remained calm.
"Good morning, Mr. Morozov," Woland said with a slight grin. "I heard you have an important event today."
“Yes, an exhibition,” Morozov answered briefly, trying not to show his excitement.
“I hope everything goes smoothly,” Woland continued, “although unexpected things sometimes happen in our world.”
Morozov felt anger rising in him. He couldn't let this man intimidate him.
"What do you want?" he asked sharply, and there was steel in his voice. "If you've come to steal something, then choose another place," he added, unable to restrain himself.
Woland only grinned, and his figure disappeared as suddenly as it had appeared.
Despite the disturbing encounter, the exhibition was a success. In the evening, when Morozov was returning home, he noticed a group of people standing around something interesting on the embankment. Coming closer, he saw that it was a huge fish caught from the Moscow River. The fish was so big that it seemed almost unreal, as if it were created not by nature, but by fantasy.
Surprisingly, the sight brought him peace. Like that fish, life in Moscow was full of surprises and mysteries, and not all of them were sinister.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
