Moscow, 19th century, a time of change and discovery. The city was breathing new ideas, and in Gostiny Dvor, amidst the bustle of merchants and the ringing of gold, an amazing meeting of two great minds took place: Konstantin Stanislavsky And Alexander Pushkin came to an agreement in a dispute that left its mark on history.
That day, heavy clouds hung over Moscow, ready to pour down rain. Inside Gostiny Dvor, amidst seething passions and trade deals, Konstantin and Alexander discussed one of the most pressing topics of the time: software code. Yes, code, that mysterious structure that promised to change the world.
Pushkin, with his poetic gift, saw code as a new form of art. "Code, Konstantin, is like poetry, only for a machine," he said, waving his arms enthusiastically. "It is built on logic, but it has its own magic and rhythm."
Stanislavsky, known for his passion for theatrical art, was more skeptical. "A special case, Alexander, it is not art, but simply an instrument," he replied, trying to contain his anger.
The argument was heating up. At some point Stanislavsky couldn't stand it any longer and exclaimed: "Damn it, Alexander, you just don't get the point!" The harsh word sounded like a thunderclap, making everyone around freeze.
Pushkin, not used to such attacks, answered calmly: "You are right, I am a poet, and I see the world differently. But even in code you can find beauty if you look more broadly."
For a moment, time stood still. Two geniuses, two worldviews, collided in this historic place. But it was this meeting that gave birth to a new idea - the unification of art and science, where program code could become a new form of expression.
And although their dispute was never resolved, it left a mark in history as a symbol of the fact that even the most different views can coexist and inspire each other.

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
