On the street Ostozhenka, that in Moscow, on one of those days when the grey November wind mercilessly tore the last leaves from the trees, an event occurred that probably deserves attention. That evening Vladimir Mayakovsky walked down the street, thinking about new poems and the eternal glory that poetry bestows.
The weather was overcast, with occasional drizzles of rain leaving dark spots on the pavement. The domes of churches could be seen in the distance, and people wrapped in shawls and coats were hurrying about their business. The air was filled with the smell of dampness, and from time to time the cries of street vendors could be heard, offering hot pies and sweets.
Mayakovsky, in his usual long coat, was walking along the old houses when he suddenly noticed something strange. On the corner of the street, in the shadow of one of the buildings, stood a man who was clearly out of place and time. He looked agitated and wary.
The figure, it turned out, belonged to a man known in narrow circles as Fyodor Dostoevsky. He was immersed in reading a book, seemingly completely oblivious to the world around him. But his gaze was wary, and from time to time he raised his head, as if expecting someone.
Mayakovsky, driven by curiosity, came closer. At that moment he noticed that Dostoevsky was covering something with his coat. It was a small wooden box, decorated with intricate carvings. Vladimir, unable to resist, asked Fyodor what kind of treasure he had.
Dostoevsky, sighing, admitted that the box was a family heirloom, which he guarded like the apple of his eye. But here's the problem - thieves, damned rogues, stole everything valuable from it. He hoped to find traces of them here, on Ostozhenka, knowing that thieves often operated in this area.
Mayakovsky, inspired by the story, offered his help. Together they set off along the trail that the street led, leaving behind the noisy crowd. Along the way they encountered characters as mysterious as Dostoevsky himself: an old shoemaker, a newspaper seller, and even a street musician humming sad melodies.
Eventually, they found what they were looking for - the thief, who turned out to be just a boy dreaming of fame and fortune. He returned the box, admitting his guilt and vowing to reform.
Dostoevsky, looking at him with compassion, forgave him, and Mayakovsky left the young man his poems, hoping that they would inspire him to an honest life. Thus, on this gray Moscow evening, a new story was born, full of forgiveness and hope.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
