Every dog has his day! Our team has developed an exclusive New Year's program. Let's talk about the traditions of folk festivals, look at the background of our favorite holiday, discuss the genealogy of its main symbols, and take a walk along the brightest Christmas paths. On the route: Manezhnaya Square, Okhotny Ryad, Teatralny Proezd, Nikolskaya Street, Red Square, GUM, Zaryadye Park, Kitay-Gorod. During the excursion there are “warming” stops.

During the excursion, guests will learn what toys children in the USSR were eager to get (Detsky Mir); since when "The Nutcracker" became the main performance of the New Year (Bolshoi Theater); why and for what reason before the revolution it was customary to knock down the Christmas tree + when, where and under what circumstances Father Frost learned about the existence of the granddaughter of Snegurochka (Column Hall of the House of Unions); how the first New Year was celebrated under the reformer tsar (Red Square) and much more exciting New Year's during the New Year's excursion! On the route: Nikolskaya Street, Lubyanka, Teatralnaya and Manezhnaya Squares, Okhotny Ryad, Red Square, GUM, Zaryadye Park, Kitay-gorod. "Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
