Author's excursion-date by car
We receive an order from one of the excursionists who have already visited us. He asks me to help surprise a colleague he likes and take him on a car ride with a guide around Moscow. Tomorrow, at the end of their working day. Requests a non-standard route, plus champagne and fruit in the cabin.
The excursion is organized roughly as follows. We find a free guide and driver in a minivan, discuss the place and time. We prepare glasses, a plate of fruit, order a bottle of sparkling wine from a wine shop - the one that the client's colleague prefers. We bring the "props" to the starting point. The driver Valdis, as usual, is in a Mercedes and in a shirt. The guide was also warned that the excursion is a date.
The excursion route in this case was not standard: a business center in the business district of Moscow - Patriarch's, a Catholic cathedral - Narkomfin - mansions on Povarskaya Street.
The individual city tour was shortened in duration, but full-fledged in cost. overview due to individual settings and wishes of the client.
The fruits and wine were good. The author's excursion-date passed in one breath.

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
