On one of those grey Moscow days, when the sky seemed to be covered with a thick fog and a cool wind blew through the streets, a young writer, Ekaterina, in search of inspiration, went to anticafe, lost in the depths of the alleys of old Moscow. This was the very place where time seemed to stand still, and every moment breathed history.
Dressed in an old coat that looked like it came straight out of a 19th-century novel, Ekaterina entered the cozy space of the anti-cafe. A special atmosphere reigned here: portraits of famous merchants and patrons hung on the walls, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee hung in the air.
In the corner, at a massive oak table, sat merchant Savva Morozov, known for his love of art and science. He was lost in thought, absorbed in studying Chinese characters. Catherine, fascinated by Chinese culture, could not help but notice this scene.
“Good afternoon, Mr. Morozov,” Ekaterina addressed him, “are you also studying Chinese?”
Savva, looking up, answered with a smile: "Yes, my dear, Chinese wisdom and culture have always attracted me. It seems that each hieroglyph hides a whole story. And you, as I see, are also interested in the East?"
Their conversation gradually turned into a lively discussion. Savva told Ekaterina how his family had once contributed to the development of trade relations with China. Ekaterina shared her literary plans, in which the Chinese theme occupied a special place.
The anti-cafe where they were sitting was an unusual place. It was known that in the past this building served as a refuge for revolutionaries and adventurers. Plans that changed the course of history were born within its walls. Now it became a refuge for those who sought inspiration and silence.
Absorbed in conversation, they did not notice how the sunset outside the windows painted the sky in crimson tones. Time flew by unnoticed, but Ekaterina felt that her soul had found new breath and ideas for a future work.
Leaving the cozy refuge of the anti-cafe, Ekaterina felt how a light breeze carried Savva’s words to her: “Don’t forget that every day is a new birth of ideas and thoughts.”
With these words in her heart, Ekaterina went home, with new plans and inspiration that this amazing place and meeting with Savva Morozov gave her.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
