The weather in Moscow was unusually cold. Dark clouds covered the sky, and the wind unceremoniously blew through the streets of the capital, flying between majestic buildings. One of these structures, Stalin's skyscraper on the Red Gate, stood like a massive guardian of time, absorbing the noise of city life and the whisper of history.
Vladimir Gilyarovsky, a famous Moscow journalist and writer, was walking slowly down the street, holding a small notebook in his hands. He liked to write down his thoughts, to look for something new and exciting in every little thing. That day, his path lay in the direction of a high-rise building, where he intended to meet one of his old friends, the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
The idea to visit this place was not born by chance. Gilyarovsky was absorbed by a new topic for his articles – space. The majestic skyscraper, with its spires reaching upward, seemed to him a symbol of the human desire for the stars, for unknown worlds. He knew that Tchaikovsky, with his unique musical sense, would be able to inspire him to new ideas.
The two friends met at the entrance to the high-rise and, exchanging brief greetings, headed inside. They were going up in an elevator that seemed capable of taking them to the very edge of the earth. Gilyarovsky couldn’t resist joking that the elevator was about to go into orbit. Tchaikovsky laughed, his smile brighter than the winter sun.
Having climbed to one of the upper floors, they stopped at a huge window with a breathtaking view of the city. Gilyarovsky began talking about the cathedral, which was visible in the distance, noting that it was located right on the line that, if extended, points to the stars. Tchaikovsky, inspired by this thought, began to hum a melody that was born in his head.
A funny incident occurred when one of the locals, an old man with a grey beard, approached them and said: “Why are you two standing here like two idiots, staring out the window?” Gilyarovsky, without taking offence, replied: “We seek inspiration in the stars!”
Despite the cold and grey day, their conversation was filled with warmth and light. They discussed the universe, dreamed of flights to other planets and, of course, could not help but mention the music that could accompany these flights. In the end, Gilyarovsky wrote down several new ideas in his book, and Tchaikovsky promised to create a new symphony inspired by their conversation.
As they left the high-rise, snow began to fall softly to the ground, as if reminding them that even on the coldest days one can find a bit of warmth and inspiration.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
