One of those days when the Moscow sky was covered with clouds and a cold wind penetrated under clothes, a young student from distant Tomsk named Anna, who decided to spend her summer holidays in the capital, went for a walk along the old streets of Kitai-gorod. The city was noisy and seething, as it should be on a summer day, when all of Moscow seemed to have poured out onto the streets.
Anna, walking along the winding alleys, came across a bar in Kitay-gorod, which beckoned with its cozy appearance and promised shelter from the wind. It was warm and soulful inside, and on the walls hung old paintings that took you back to old times.
Taking a seat by the window, Anna watched with interest what was happening around her. After a while, a short man in old-fashioned clothes approached her table. He looked as if he had stepped here straight from the 18th century, and, introducing himself, called himself Alexander Suvorov.
Anna was amazed by such an unexpected meeting. Suvorov, famous for his victories and brilliant military strategies, was a legendary man, and to see him here, in the bar, seemed incredible.
Suvorov, with a good-natured smile, began the conversation, telling Anna about his battles and life in those distant times. He told her about the importance of being true to your ideals and not being afraid of difficulties. Anna listened to him with admiration, realizing that she had a rare opportunity to learn history firsthand.
At some point, Suvorov laughed and told Anna a political joke that was circulating among officers in his time. This joke was about how Tsar Peter the Great, having decided to check how things were going in the army, came incognito to one of the camps. There, he was not recognized and was taken for a simple soldier, and when he, unable to bear it, revealed his true name, the commander only grinned and said: "Well, even tsars make mistakes!"
Anna, laughing, noted that times change, but human nature remains the same. Their conversation continued for some time, and, saying goodbye, Suvorov wished Anna success in her studies and courage in life. Leaving the bar, she understood that this meeting would forever remain in her memory as a symbol of the amazing historical connections that can be found even in the most unexpected places in Moscow.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
