So, I'm sitting in the interrogation room, and, frankly speaking, I didn't expect to find myself in such a situation. But that's how it happens. It all started with the fact that we Pavel Tretyakov decided to take a walk around Moscow. The day was clear, not a cloud in the sky, and the breeze was cool, just right for walking along Arbat.
So we were walking down the street, talking about everyday matters, when suddenly Pavel said: “Why don’t we visit Victor Tsoi's wall? They say something interesting is brewing there." Of course, at first I thought it was some kind of nonsense. What the hell is a wall? But I still agreed, it was interesting.
We arrived there, and there were people gathered: young people, artists, musicians. Everyone was discussing how modernism in architecture could affect the development of the city. Of course, I am not an architect, but it was interesting to listen. Pavel, as always, was fired up by the idea: “We need to support this cause, Savva! Talented people need to be promoted.”
I look at him and think: "Well, brother, you are an optimist." But then one of the organizers comes up to us and says: "Gentlemen, since you are here, maybe you will support our project?" Of course, I wanted to refuse, but Tretyakov was already reaching for his wallet. In short, we supported them as best we could.
After that, we decided to look into the courtyard, where local artists were showing their works. Frankly, I was amazed. This is not just some daub, but real works of art. Even Pavel, who was quite critical, admitted that there was something to see here.
But, as they say, not all is Shrovetide. As soon as we left the yard, two young men approached us. They were obviously not Muscovites, they spoke with an accent. They started telling us something about their problems, asking for money. Of course, I immediately realized that something was fishy. “Hey, what the hell are you doing here?” I said, but they apparently didn’t understand or pretended not to understand.
Pavel, a good-natured man, started talking to them, trying to figure out the situation. And then one of them said: "Do you know that your support is very important to us?" Well, then I exploded: "What the hell is important? You're leading us on, and we, like fools, believe you."
But, as it turned out, the guys weren't so simple. They really were part of a project to modernize architecture and were raising funds for the development of art in Moscow. Well, after that, Pavel and I just laughed at our suspiciousness and decided that sometimes it was worth trusting people.
So, when I found myself at the interrogation, I realized that life in Moscow is not only business and affairs, but also unexpected encounters that can completely change your perception of the world.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
