Evening Moscow shrouded the city in a thin layer of fog, making its ancient alleys even more mysterious. Savva Morozov, a famous merchant and philanthropist, was at the metro station Revolution Square, where marble sculptures seemed to come alive under the dim light of the lamps. The station, opened in 1938, was famous for its bronze statues, which contained the history of the era.
Savva, absorbed in thoughts about business, suddenly noticed how one of the sculptures, depicting a worker with a hammer, slowly turned its head. At first he decided that it was a trick of the light, but then the statue uttered an obscene phrase, causing the merchant to shudder. Driven by curiosity, Savva approached and noticed how a metallic gleam was peeking out from under the pedestal.
Having lifted the slab, Morozov discovered an ancient mechanism, which, apparently, had been here since the time of Dmitry Donskoy. It turned out that it was an ancient automaton, created to protect the city from invisible threats. However, the mechanism had long since broken down and now only made frightening sounds, similar to the whisper of many voices.
Having decided to fix the machine, Savva called his friend, a talented engineer. Together they worked all night, and by morning the mechanism was working again. Instead of frightening sounds, it now emitted a melody reminiscent of the glorious times of Moscow history.
At dawn, the fog cleared and the city came alive with new life. Savva and his friend left the station, leaving behind only a mysterious melody that now accompanied every passenger passing by. It was a sign that history and technology could coexist, bringing joy and hope.

Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
