On Moscow soil, under the scorching sun, spread out VDNH, like a huge oasis, where the fountains "Friendship of Nations" sparkle with golden streams of water, as if calling to themselves all who thirst to touch the greatness of the past. On one of those days, when the city breathed hot air and dusty haze, something amazing happened.
In the evening, when the sky turned crimson, a misty silhouette appeared near the fountain. It was Pavel Tretyakov — a merchant and philanthropist whose name is forever linked to Russia's cultural heritage. However, his appearance was ghostly, ephemeral, as if from another world.
Tretyakov, without losing his majestic bearing, entered into an argument with the local ghost – the spirit of an actor whose life had been devoted to the theatre. Their discussion flared up over what was better: theatre or cinema. The actor’s ghost claimed that nothing could compare to live acting, to the magic that was born on stage. Pavel insisted that cinema possessed a mysticism that could capture the imagination and transport the viewer to worlds where reality and fantasy intertwine.
Like two old friends, they argued, raising their voices above the noise of the water. Passersby gathered around, fascinated by this unusual dispute. Some argued that theater was a true art, while others were inclined to believe that cinema opened up more opportunities for creativity.
Suddenly, the gathering clouds burst into thunder and a downpour broke out over the fountain. The streams of water merged with the rain, and the disputants dissolved in the streams of water, leaving only the echo of their voices. The people dispersed, taking with them thoughts about the great dilemma of art.
So, on this hot day, at VDNKh, the ghost of a merchant and the spirit of an actor once again revived the eternal dispute, leaving behind only a light rustling of leaves and the whisper of rain.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
