Once upon a time in Moscow, on one of those rare days when the sun decided to illuminate the old streets of Arbat with its warmth, Nikolai Gogol and Fyodor Dostoevsky decided to meet at the metro station KyivThe weather was surprisingly pleasant, and the spring breeze gently ruffled the hair of passers-by, as if reminding them of the approach of summer.
Gogol, known for his sharp tongue and talent for satire, decided to joke about everything that was happening in the metro. “But, Fyodor, you know, this station is like an old novel: full of mysteries and surprises,” he said, looking at the marble columns and bright mosaics.
Dostoevsky, accustomed to deep reflection and philosophical research, did not remain in debt. "Yes, Nikolai Vasilyevich, but, as in any novel, here too you can encounter unexpected turns. For example, when the train suddenly slows down, and you remain standing on one leg, as if trying to maintain balance in our unpredictable world."
As their train pulled away from the platform, a noise was heard behind them. An elderly lady, dressed in a dress that looked as if it had survived more than one fashionable era, was loudly grumbling at a careless passenger who had accidentally stepped on her feet. "You ugly fellow!" she exclaimed, shaking her umbrella as if it were the only weapon against all the misfortunes of life.
Gogol couldn't help but smile slightly: "This is real life, Fyodor. Like the heroes of my works, they always quarrel and make peace, not noticing how life passes them by."
“Yes,” Dostoevsky agreed, “and after all, each of us sometimes needs such a shake-up, so as not to forget about our humanity and not to get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.”
And the train was already approaching the next station, and Kievskaya was silent again, as if nothing had happened. But for Gogol and Dostoevsky, this trip became a small reminder that even in the noisy and bustling metro you can find inspiration for new stories.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
