In the center of Moscow, on Nikolskaya Street, where every paving stone holds the memory of the past, in a cozy shot glass a story worthy of the pen of Gogol himself happened. One evening, when a summer breeze, lost in the alleys, brought coolness, two famous Muscovites sat at a table by the window: Pavel Tretyakov, a merchant and philanthropist, and Alexander Pushkin, poet and joker.
The bar was noisy, as always at this time. The clinking of glasses, lively conversations, and, of course, aromas that made even the tongue begin to yearn for adventure. Pavel, a lover of painting, and Alexander, a master of words, were discussing the latest news from the capital when the topic of new inventions suddenly came up in the conversation. Just recently, the first mechanical carriages had appeared in the city - machines that moved without horses. These wonders of technology excited the minds of Muscovites, and even on Nikolskaya they could not help but talk about them.
“Pavel, my friend, do you think these iron horses will ever replace the usual carriages?” asked Pushkin, squinting slyly.
- Well, Alexander, when I first saw Repin's painting, I also didn't believe that a brush could convey such truth. However, - Tretyakov laughed, - now I own a whole gallery.
Pushkin, inspired by the unexpected comparison, enthusiastically hit the table. - So, maybe you and I, Pavel, will become the first owners of these mechanical wonders? Imagine how jealous our friends will be when they see us in these machines!
They both enthusiastically began planning their future travels on these "iron horses." Tretyakov dreamed of trips out of town to bring paintings from distant artists to his gallery, and Pushkin imagined how he would travel around Moscow, writing poetry as he went.
Meanwhile, at the next table, two officers got into a quarrel, succumbing to the general mood and decided to argue about whose leg would cope with such a machine faster. Soon the argument turned into a real race along Nikolskaya, which caused quite a stir among the bar's patrons.
While the officers were measuring their strength, Tretyakov and Pushkin, inspired by the spirit of innovation, were already planning how they would combine art and technology. In their eyes sparkled that very spark that once illuminated the world with great discoveries.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
