How a dental surgeon conquered VDNKh. A foreigner's third visit to Moscow / Day 2
The second day of our individual program was spent at VDNKh. The guest had been there before, but was so impressed by this place that she wanted to return. The guide picked her up from the hotel, and they went to the exhibition complex by metro. The tour in English began with a tour of the national pavilions. The excursionist showed a special interest in Central Asia, bought food, cosmetics and small souvenirs as a keepsake.
The original plan was to go ice skating, but as a dental surgeon, our guest decided not to take any risks. She explained that a hand injury could affect her work. Instead, the tour continued on foot, with a visit to the lighting show at the Moscow pavilion. We had lunch in a teahouse, enjoying the authentic atmosphere and cozy trestle beds.
The guide suggested a ride on the Ferris wheel "Solntse Moskvy" - the highest in Europe. However, the excursionist admitted that she was afraid of heights. Instead, they went to a farm where there were few visitors. The guest enjoyed looking at the animals: goats, alpacas, and even tried to pet a donkey. However, the donkey was biting, and the alpacas were capricious, preferring food to affection. Despite this, the farm made a pleasant impression. The urban environment rarely allows you to see such animals, but here - a real village atmosphere.
By the way, our guest is well acquainted with rural life. She spent her childhood in the village, where there were geese and chickens. Now she lives in the city, but at home she has a dog that lives outside in its own kennel. The excursionist admits that she loves order, and dogs, according to her, often create chaos.
On the way to the farm, the guide and the guest stopped by a mosaic workshop. A new work based on Banksy had recently appeared there — an image of a girl with a balloon. Similar graffiti can be seen in Moscow City. The excursionist was interested in the mosaic, but the price, which exceeded 100 thousand rubles, made her refuse to buy it. Nevertheless, she noted that the work was very beautiful, and even wondered if it was possible to create something similar herself.
This day at VDNKh turned out to be eventful. The guest saw both new and old pavilions, enjoyed the atmosphere and returned to the hotel by metro, taking with her vivid impressions of a walk through one of the most interesting places in Moscow.
You can also book a tour "VDNHa and Space" and others.

Thank you and Masha for yesterday!
The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
