Spanish guests strolled through the bars of Moscow on Kitay-Gorod
Spanish friends who came to the capital on business decided to relax and learn more about Moscow's drinking establishments. The alcohol tour of the bars was conducted in Spanish. The guide and guests agreed to meet at 17:00 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The guide's task was to have time to conduct the alcohol tour before the evening, since the guests had other plans.
The first part of the tour took about twenty minutes and was devoted to the history of the production of alcoholic beverages and drinking establishments in Moscow. The guide mentioned that the monopoly on alcohol in Russia began at the end of the 4th century under Ivan III, and since the 18th century, the Moscow public had fun in the area of \u200b\u200bwhat is now Kitay-Gorod, where the excursion took place. The guests also learned what kind of drinking establishments there were in the capital, and that in many they only drank and did not eat, in the style of wine bars.
Then the guide and the guys went up to the Nautilus shopping center, where there is a wonderful bar with a panoramic view. By the way, we didn’t go up by the elevator, since it was too slow, but in a roundabout way, where everyone paid attention to the funny marketing calls from the series: “Buy three cocktails, buy the fourth one too.”
Then the guide personally took the guests to the "secret" bars located in the area behind the Kitay-Gorod metro station. Some of them are quite old, others appeared quite recently. Naturally, the entrances to all the bars were either through courtyards or some back streets, which greatly impressed the tourists. One of the guests, who has lived in St. Petersburg for over twenty years and speaks excellent Russian, said that he had been to the capital many times, but had never seen Moscow like this before - the city revealed itself to him from a completely different side.
The bar "Ryumochnaya Mechty" made a real splash. There the guide and guests ordered the tincture "Zayka, tebya te svobodni?" It was served with anchovy - this, by the way, can be seen in one of the photos.
At the Black Swan restaurant, tourists tasted Caipirinha and Caipiroska cocktails. The first of them is a traditional Brazilian cocktail, which uses a strong drink close to rum cachaca. The second cocktail is the same, but with regular vodka. By the way, it turned out that the local bartender speaks Spanish very well - this flattered the guests.
At Pestiki-Stamenki they drank homemade, signature liqueurs, such as cranberry, and the guests also tried horseradish vodka, which greatly impressed one of the comrades - he had never been to Russia before and had never tried anything like it.
Unfortunately, there was not much time, but the guests were still satisfied and gave positive feedback about the individual alcohol excursion to the customer, who in turn wanted to attend it himself.
You can also book a tour "Hot spots" and others.

Thank you and Masha for yesterday!
The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
