One of those days when a gloomy, but still warm autumn cloud hung over Moscow, and the wind drove the rare leaves across the cobblestones, in Ivanovsky Monastery (Moscow) the serf peasant Fedot came. He was a simple man, but with a great dream - to see Sergei Yesenin, who on that very day announced an exhibition of his new poems.
Fedot, simple-minded and naive, expected that the exhibition would take place somewhere in the monastery chambers, for rumors said that Yesenin favored this place because of its quiet, almost monastic, atmosphere. Imagine his surprise when he discovered that the poet was planning something completely different.
Sergei Yesenin, being a witty man with a sense of humor, decided to hold his exhibition in an unusual format. He announced that everyone who came should bring one mushroom. When asked "why mushrooms?" Yesenin, with a sly smile, answered that we all find inspiration in simple things. "And what could be simpler and more inspiring than a mushroom grown on Moscow soil?" he added, winking at the crowd.
Fedot, having no mushrooms, but not wanting to miss the chance to see the poet, quickly realized that it could be done without him. He made his way into the monastery garden, hoping to find at least one treasured mushroom there. But, to his disappointment, all the mushrooms had already been collected by more agile visitors.
Sergei, seeing the unlucky peasant, only grinned. "Well, brother, haven't found it? No problem, there are more mushrooms in your head than in the field," he shouted cheerfully, causing the entire crowd to laugh.
And so that day passed. Ivanovsky Monastery, where autumn leaves, mushrooms and Yesenin's poems are intertwined into one funny and memorable story. And Fedot, although he did not find mushrooms, received something more - a memory of a meeting with the great poet and a good portion of inspiration.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
