In the fog of a Moscow morning, when small drops of rain kissed the ancient paving stones, a young poor man named Ivan walked along Varvarka Street, heading towards Gostiny DvorLife in Moscow was full of trials for him, but he always found solace in the books of the great Fyodor Dostoevsky, whose voice always seemed to resound in his mind.
Finding himself in the semi-dark corridors of Gostiny Dvor, Ivan noticed a figure in an old tailcoat. This man, with a face that seemed to have come from the pages of novels, turned out to be none other than Fyodor Dostoevsky himself. There was depth in his eyes, and his smile was mysterious and cheerful.
Ivan, amazed by the meeting, could not resist and started a conversation about which city was more beautiful - Moscow or St. Petersburg. Dostoevsky, as a true Petersburger, could not help but defend the honor of his city, but his arguments were full of philosophical wisdom. He described St. Petersburg as a city where every stone breathes history, and the rivers and canals awaken the deepest thoughts.
Ivan, in turn, cited the example of Moscow streets, full of hidden secrets and legends. He spoke about the warmth of the capital's residents, about how cheerfully evenings can pass in Moscow's alleys, and about how Gostiny Dvor, despite its grandeur, remains a place where destinies meet.
Suddenly, the sound of bells, echoing in the arches of the courtyard, interrupted their argument. Ivan felt the walls begin to close in and the shadows grow denser. But Dostoevsky, with his characteristic calm, took Ivan by the hand and said, "Do not be afraid, these are only the shadows of our consciousness, to which we give life." Ivan, struck by the depth of these words, felt his fears crumble, giving way to light.
When they went outside, the rain had stopped and the sun's rays broke through the clouds, illuminating the wet asphalt. Dostoevsky, smiling, disappeared into the crowd, leaving Ivan alone with his thoughts. Now he knew that the argument about cities was unimportant - what was important was how we ourselves filled them with meaning.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
