In the bright and seething life of Moscow, in the very heart of its architectural utopia, rises the high-rise building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. This monumental example of Stalinist Empire style, like a guard, protects the stories that came to life on its floors. And then, on one of these seemingly ordinary days, the walls of this majestic tower became witnesses to a strange event.
Konstantin Stanislavsky, the renowned master of the theater, found himself in this building for a reason. The centuries-old spirit of Arbat, not far from which the skyscraper stretches upward, attracted him. His visit was unusual - he came here to test a new project. A project that was supposed, oddly enough, to unite theater and software code. Stanislavsky believed that art and technology could become one if the right approach was found.
That day, during one of the excursions around the high-rise, he decided to conduct an experiment. In his hands was a small laptop, on the screen of which the text of a program was running, written in a strange language reminiscent of a mixture of Russian and machine code. The code, as Stanislavsky claimed, was supposed to bring the scene to life in a new format.
But when he tried to demonstrate his creation, something went wrong. The screen froze, and instead of the expected theatrical miracle, the laptop displayed only a single inscription: "Bad code." Stanislavsky, not used to such failures, only grinned. He always believed that a mistake is only a step towards success.
However, at that moment, time seemed to stop. From behind the scenes, which this time were the walls of a high-rise building, came Alexander Pushkin. His figure, as if from the haze of the past, was so real that Stanislavsky had no doubts - this was not an illusion. The poet, smiling, said: "Every mistake is a new story."
Stanislavsky thought about it. Perhaps his project was indeed a failure, but the idea was alive. "Art is the code we write every day," he thought, looking at Pushkin. "And each of us is its programmer."
Thus, on a tour of the MID high-rise, through a dialogue of time and space, two great figures of art found a new path to mutual understanding. Pushkin disappeared as unexpectedly as he had appeared, leaving Stanislavsky alone with his thoughts and unfinished code.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
