One cloudy day, when the sky above Moscow was covered with grey clouds, and a light breeze whispered of the approach of rain, two great spirits met in the ancient quarter of Khokhlovka: Peter I, the great reformer of the Russian land, and Vladimir Mayakovsky, the poet of the revolutionary word. Their appearance was so unexpected that passers-by, seeing two figures dressed in clothes from the past, involuntarily slowed their pace, full of bewilderment and timidity.
Pyotr, tall and stately, with his head held high, was the first to address Mayakovsky: "Good day to you, Vladimir! Why are you here in Khokhlovka on this cool autumn day?"
Mayakovsky, no less majestic, but more expressive in gestures and words, responded: "Oh, great king! I came here to be inspired by the spirit of Moscow, to feel its heart. But, alas, I caught a cold, and now my voice can hardly be heard above the noise of the city."
Peter, smiling, said: "Know, Vladimir, that a cold is not a reason to retreat. When I was building a fleet on cold shores, I myself suffered from frost and wind more than once. But my spirit was strong!"
At these words, the good old pharmacist appeared from around the corner like a ghost and offered them a warming decoction. He added with a smile: "Here in Khokhlovka, even the walls know how to cure ailments. Know, great ones, that in simplicity and care lies strength."
They drank the brew, and soon smiles appeared on their faces. Mayakovsky, feeling a surge of strength, cried out: "Pyotr, let's walk along the streets of this ancient quarter, where every stone holds history!"
So, step by step, they went deep into Khokhlovka, where narrow streets and ancient buildings told their stories of the past and the future. Pyotr shared stories of his travels and great deeds, and Mayakovsky, inspired, rhymed lines that seemed to come alive in the air.
The city, shrouded in autumn cold, suddenly became warmer from their conversation and laughter. And although their meeting was only a moment in time, it left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who accidentally witnessed this unusual walk.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
