Autumn in Moscow, 1903. The city was slowly sinking into a gray twilight, as if nature itself was preparing for the long winter evenings. On the narrow streets of Moscow, amid the endless traffic, a figure stood out Vladimir Gilyarovsky, a famous journalist and writer who was famous for his love of uncovering the secrets of the city's underworld. His path that day lay in Sandunovskie baths, a place where the destinies of the most diverse people converged - from rich merchants to poor workers.
The Sanduny Baths, famous for their luxury and history, attracted not only steam lovers, but also those who sought solitude and relaxation from the bustle of the city. Here, among the clouds of steam, one could hear the whisper of secrets and see how the paths of the most diverse people intersected.
That day, Gilyarovsky, who knew the secrets of Moscow like no one else, noticed a certain commotion. One of the bathhouse regulars, a poor man with an unremarkable appearance but with unusually expressive eyes, attracted his attention. This man, as it turned out, was known in narrow circles as a connoisseur and appreciator of wine, which was rare for his position.
The poor man, whose name remained unknown, always carried a small flask of wine that he made himself. This time, while in the baths, he discovered that his precious flask was missing. This loss might seem like a trifle, but not for him. The wine he kept was his pride and the only source of joy in difficult times.
Gilyarovsky, sensitive to such stories, became interested in this incident. He began his investigation, checking every detail like an experienced forensic scientist. His hand, accustomed to the pen, now moved along the pages of his notebook, filling them with notes and guesses. He carefully examined the scene of the crime, trying to catch the slightest traces that could point to the culprit.
His intuition and sharp tongue helped him quickly narrow down the suspects. Gilyarovsky noticed the strange behavior of one of the visitors, who seemed to avoid his gaze. This man, apparently, was not averse to taking someone else's flask to enjoy its contents.
In the end, thanks to Gilyarovsky's attentiveness and persistence, the truth was revealed. The missing item was returned to its owner, and the culprit, realizing his mistake, apologized and promised to improve. This story, like many others, remained in the memory of Moscow, where every day could become the beginning of a new mystery or adventure.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
