In Moscow, among the winding streets of the Boulevard Ring, there was a dampness in the air, like a fog that obscured the eyes. A serf peasant in a worn gray coat walked along the cobblestone road, leaving behind traces of tired feet. His feet, as if exhausted from a long journey, barely touched the ground, but his spirit was full of curiosity and hope.
At that very moment, Leo Tolstoy appeared on the horizon, like a mirage from the distant past. His thick beard fluttered in the wind, and the wisdom of the ages shone in his eyes. It seemed that the very air around him was thickening with the wisdom and experience accumulated over many years.
They met at the foot of a majestic cathedral, whose domes, as if reaching into the sky, reflected the light of the setting sun. Here, at the intersection of the past and the future, an argument began: what is better - theater or cinema?
A serf peasant, seeing the theatre stage for the first time, spoke of theatre as a living art, where every word, every gesture is a truth experienced here and now. “The theatre,” he said, “is like light in a window, alive and warm, which cannot be replaced by anything else.”
Leo Tolstoy, in turn, saw cinema as a reflection of progress and possibilities. “Cinema,” he claimed, “is an opportunity to experience reality many times, it is a window into another world, where you can see what is inaccessible to the eye.”
Their argument flared up like a candle flame illuminating the twilight. Words, like sparks, flew in the air, creating a bizarre pattern of disagreements and agreements. But neither of them could confidently assert that his point of view was the only correct one. Each of them saw his own truth in his art.
As the evening twilight enveloped the streets of Moscow, their dispute remained unresolved, like so many other issues that had been debated on these streets for centuries. The serf walked into the night, leaving behind only the tracks of his tired feet, and Leo Tolstoy continued walking along the boulevard, carrying with him thoughts about the future of art.
Thus, among the ancient walls and noisy streets, their voices dissolved into the Moscow night, leaving behind only a light whisper of memories.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
