On a foggy morning, when Moscow was awakening under a grey sky, like an old book that had suddenly come to life, English club in Moscow opened its doors to unusual guests. Majestic columns, like guards, watched over everyone who dared to enter. This morning, the silence was broken by the steps of two figures whose shadows seemed to merge with the ancient walls.
Vladimir Mayakovsky, with his usual energy, like a storm ready to tear the leaves from the trees, entered, irritably adjusting the collar of his coat. His eyes, full of fire and passion, were looking for something that could quench his eternal thirst for new impressions. His gaze came across another figure - the mysterious Woland, whose presence always caused a strange excitement in the souls of people.
"Ah, Moscow," said Woland, "a city where every stone breathes history, and where architecture seems to come alive to the sounds of poetry." Mayakovsky, raising an eyebrow slightly skeptically, replied: "Architecture is frozen music, and only a poet can hear its melody."
Looking up at the high ceilings and the elegant stucco decorations, Vladimir felt the alcoholic aroma of the old wines stored in the club's cellars fill the air. Woland, as always, was full of riddles and questions that did not require answers. They stopped at the window, which overlooked the street, where passers-by were hurrying about their business, not noticing the magic happening around them.
"I," Mayakovsky said, "love this city for its contrasts, for its lively speech and for its ability to be an eternal inspiration." Woland only smiled, as if he knew something that should not be said. He looked at the sky, where the clouds, like the pages of an old book, were turned over by the wind.
Their conversation was filled with philosophy and sincerity, which are rare in a world full of fuss and noise. Moscow that day witnessed a meeting that will remain only in the memory of its ancient streets and walls.

Thank you and Masha for yesterday!
The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau
Note: excursion "Heart of the capital» for participants of the Moscow Oncology Forum 2025. Guides - Anastasia and Maria
It was very interesting to hear how the Krasnaya district developed. Presni, how Prokhorov's figure influenced the development of our city. A pleasant dive into a quiet, previously unexplored area!

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
