In the heart of old Moscow, Patriarch's Ponds, one of the gloomy evenings, when the mysterious whisper of the wind was spreading over the city, two famous people of their era met. They were Vladimir Gilyarovsky And Alexander PushkinIt seemed that Moscow itself, breathing ancient legends and undisclosed secrets, had brought them together here for an important conversation.
Sitting on a bench next to a quietly babbling pond, Gilyarovsky, this venerable journalist and connoisseur of Moscow life, looked thoughtfully at his interlocutor. Pushkin, in turn, with a smile on his lips, enjoyed the conversation, which, as it turned out, concerned the most intimate thing - women. The question, which seemed impossible to resolve, enlivened their dispute.
"Ah, Alexander Sergeyevich," Gilyarovsky began, "you are a poet, which means you see women through the prism of inspiration. But aren't they as individual as your poems? How can you talk about them in general terms?"
"Dear Vladimir Alekseevich," Pushkin replied, playfully raising an eyebrow, "that's where their charm lies. Each one is a separate poem, full of mysteries and discoveries. Isn't that so?"
Their conversation, like the wind, grew louder and then died down, carried away into the distance, to the old houses and stone pavements. Pushkin, with his characteristic elegance, outlined the images of the ladies who inspired him to create immortal lines. Gilyarovsky, on the contrary, with his characteristic realism, described the Moscow women with whom life brought him together.
“Vladimir, but this is the essence - each of us sees women in our own way,” said Pushkin, “after all, in each of them you can find a reflection of the soul!”
But Gilyarovsky, with his characteristic stubbornness, insisted: “True understanding comes with experience, dear Alexander, and only he who has experienced life in its diversity is capable of comprehending female nature!”
The Patriarch's Ponds, like mute witnesses to their dispute, remained silent, only occasionally broken by the splash of water. In this place, where every stone breathed history, the dispute over women became a symbol of the incomprehensibility and versatility of human nature.
Late at night, when the city was enveloped in silence and the few passers-by were hurrying about their business, Gilyarovsky and Pushkin parted, leaving their dispute unresolved. But each of them took with them a piece of the truth revealed that evening.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
