A Frenchman from Italy appreciated the masterpieces of the Tretyakov Gallery and walked around Zamoskvorechye during an author's excursion
Today, guide Elena conducted a spontaneous tour on an individual route in English for a foreign tourist from Italy. They met on Pyatnitskaya, where the young man was brought by a Russian customer in a Maybach. Alexander asked to show the guest named Alexio Zamoskvorechye and take him to Kitay-gorod.
The personal guide and the young tourist began their tour of Moscow from Chernigovsky Lane, where they entered the courtyard with a monument to Anna Akhmatova. Elena told Alexio about the Russian poetess's affair with the Italian artist Modigliani, whose drawing the sculpture was based on. Unfortunately, despite the fact that the young man lives in Italy, he did not know who Modigliani was.
Then the guys went to the “Joy of All Who Sorrow” church, which is located on Ordynka. It looks atypical for Russia, there are columns inside, and the temple has a very European look. The guy was pleased: it turned out that he was a believer and even approached our miraculous icon to pray.
After leaving the temple, Elena and Alexio went to Shmelevsky Square and took pictures in front of the fountain. When we passed by the Tretyakov Gallery, the guest invited the guide to go inside. The customer transferred money for tickets, and Alexio was so carried away that he did not want to leave: he examined the paintings in detail in each room. It turned out that the young man is a very inquisitive Frenchman! If they had two more hours, he would spend them in the gallery. Elena did not expect to find such an interest in art in Alexio, and the guy, in turn, did not think that the Tretyakov Gallery was so big! In addition, a new building will soon open there, which the guys, naturally, only looked at from the outside.
In the room with Kiprensky, where a portrait of Pushkin hangs, and on the other side there are canvases by Russian artists who visited Italy and painted it, the young man naturally recognized Sorrento and Capri.
Having reached Valentin Serov and his “Girls with Peaches,” the guys decided to move on.
When we left the Tretyakov Gallery, we headed along Lavrushinsky to Bolotnaya Square, and there, on the Luzhkovsky Bridge, Elena photographed a guy at the monument to child victims of adult vices. Then the guys went out to Sofiyka (Sofia Embankment) and managed to reach the Moskvoretsky Bridge when suddenly it started to rain. At first it was not that big, but then it became stronger, and neither the guide nor her tourist took umbrellas with them. Therefore, we decided to go to the Baltschug Hotel, where the customer drove up to pick up Alexio. By the way, Alexander said that the day before the excursion he walked with his French friend around the central locations and showed him Red Square.
It also turned out that Alexio is engaged in commercial real estate in Europe: he is looking for premises for large stores and shopping centers. But overall he comes across as a very modest person.
In general, Elena showed the young man everything she had time to do, and then the young man went to the airport, taking with him the most pleasant memories of Moscow.

The speakers are happy. The connection in the headphones often failed, especially at the checkpoint, but this is our current life situation. It was audible if they were standing close, no further than 1.5 meters. Colleagues have already asked for your contacts. I will gladly share and will be glad to have a new opportunity to work with you. Special thanks to the Director for the Bureau

"Theater capital" - an author's route through the places of Meyerhold, Stanislavsky, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Tairov (undeservedly forgotten, it was he who created the current Pushkin Theatre on Tverskoy Boulevard).
Two and a half hours of fascinating stories and urban theatre legends. I'll tell you one:
The great composer Sergei Prokofiev lived in Kamergersky Lane. And he managed to die on the same day as Stalin. There was a terrible crush in Moscow, everything was blocked off, the entire capital wanted to say goodbye to the leader. So, to see Prokofiev off, the coffin was carried out from Kamergersky Lane on the roofs. I can vividly imagine this picture.
