Fog. It was this that enveloped Moscow in the morning when Eugene Onegin, a modern explorer and lover of experiments, got off the train at the metro station PaveletskayaThe wind blew on his face, reminding him of the past, when he was just a hero of a novel, and now he had become a living participant in the bustle of the city.
Onegin, who had not forgotten his old habits, felt a flask of alcohol in his coat pocket. It was his personal ritual - a sip for luck before the start of an important day. Today he was to take part in a scientific experiment that promised to reveal the secrets of Paveletskaya station. They said that here, in the depths of Moscow, unusual phenomena were hidden, connected with time and space anomalies.
Onegin entered the carriage and noticed a man in an old merchant's suit sitting opposite him. It was a merchant who had disappeared under mysterious circumstances more than a hundred years ago. At first, Onegin couldn't believe his eyes, but then he realized that this could be part of an experiment.
The carriage suddenly shook, the light flickered, and at that moment the real mysticism began. The merchant stood up and, without saying a word, motioned for Evgeny to follow him. They both found themselves in a long, dark corridor that seemed to have no end. It seemed as if the walls were whispering in an ancient language, and the floor was paved with old Moscow cobblestones, steeped in history.
Suddenly they found themselves in a small room with paintings on the walls depicting scenes from Moscow's past. The merchant pointed to one of them - it depicted Eugene Onegin himself, in the costume he had worn a century ago. At that moment, Eugene realized that the experiment was not just scientific research, but a journey into his own past.
The merchant seemed to know what to do. He handed Onegin an antique key, which turned out to open the door in the present. Eugene inserted the key into the keyhole, and the door slowly opened, releasing them back into the subway station, where the light was bright again and the fog had disappeared.
On the platform, people were hurrying about their business, unaware of what was happening. Eugene glanced at the merchant, who now looked like an ordinary passenger. Onegin realized that the experiment was over, and perhaps he had become part of something bigger than just scientific research.
Onegin felt the flask in his pocket again and, smiling, took his last sip. This day will forever remain in his memory as the day when the past and the present came together in one moment, and the mystical secrets of the metro were revealed to him.
