On Arbat, in the very heart of Moscow, stands Spasohaus, an ancient mansion entwined with legends and secrets. One cool autumn day, when the wind whispered stories of bygone eras, a new drama worthy of Franz Kafka's pen played out within its walls.
Vladimir Mayakovsky, the great poet and master of words, found himself invited to a private evening at Spasohaus. He did not know what kind of evening it was or who would be hosting it. Suspicion crept into his soul, but curiosity got the better of him. The sky was covered with gray clouds, and it seemed that they, like him, were expecting something unusual.
Entering the hall, Mayakovsky immediately noticed a strange man with a subtle smile among the guests. His gaze was as slippery as his manners. He was a swindler, known in Moscow circles for his obscene reputation. He knew how to charm with his speech, but behind the mask of charm hid deception and cunning.
As the evening reached its climax, a mysterious swindler approached Mayakovsky and proposed a deal that might seem absurd. He offered to commission the poet to create a work of art, promising untold benefits and glory in return. But with each passing second, the conversation became stranger and stranger, and Vladimir felt his irritation growing.
"What kind of absurdity is this?" he thought, looking at the swindler, whose words seemed alien and empty to him. But he continued to describe prospects that could open doors to a new world.
The room was getting quieter and quieter, it seemed that even the walls were absorbing this conversation, in which truth and lies intertwined in a bizarre dance. And then suddenly one of the guests, apparently realizing the absurdity of the situation, laughed loudly, releasing the tension.
Mayakovsky, realizing that he had become the victim of someone's joke or yet another scam, left Spasohaus, leaving behind a trail of disappointment. On the street, he was met by rain, washing his face from traces of confusion. He never returned to that house again, but the story of that evening remained in his memory forever.
